Let's say you had four rooms filled with 100 people. Each room had a different demographic of people in it.
The first was a room full of Transgender Women.
The second was full of Catholic Priests
The third was full of Trump-supporting men.
The fourth was a random sampling of Americans with no other specific thing in common.
Which one of these rooms do you think is the most likely and least likely to have a pedophile in it?
I would wager that if I was going from most likely to least likely I'd say Trump supporters were the most likely, Catholic priests were 2nd, the random sampling of Americans 3rd, and the Transgender Women would be the least likely to have a pedophile among them.

Slow day at DP? 🤪🤪

What about Harris supporters?
Guess that was just a silly oversight?
Not really. Harris supporters are definitely less creepy than Trump supporters, so there was no need to ask that question, since it is already a well known fact.

Pedophiles make up less than 5% of the male population. So in a room with 100 random men, chances are you'll get 4 or 5. That's not definite...just the odds.

I don't have the stats for the other groups, so I'm going with random men.

NONE are most likely. Most pedophiles are anyone

A lawsuit was recently filed against J.K. Rowling and Elon Musk for cyberbullying an Olympic athlete in France.
It got me thinking. J.K. Rowling claims to have been assaulted by a man in a woman's bathroom as a child. She uses this as the basis for her anti-trans bigotry.
I would wager that actual trans women are least likely to hurt a child.

Meh... I don't know man, it certainly seems like there are certain types of beliefs that would be more likely to correlate and less likely to correlate.

Do you have any idea what thread you are posting in? 🙃

100 Trans Women

In exactly the order you listed them, from most to least likely. But all of the groups are very likely to have a few, because 100 is a lot of people.

The trans group is the most likely. A group defined by sexual deviance is also probably going to have people who are sexually deviant in other less-obvious ways.

The priests are second-most likely, for similar reasons. I'm not judging the celibate lifestyle, but it is outside the norm. And people attracted to that lifestyle are more likely to be people with some sort of shameful desire. Many are simply gay men in a religion where that's frowned upon...but in some cases it will be darker than that.

The Trump-supporting men are third. Not because of anything related to politics, but because you specified men.

Random Americans will be fourth, because half of this group will be women.

Is this room a public bathroom? 😉
