So is all international trade part of the globalist plotting? If so, the world has been globalist from the time ships first sailed and armies first marched. Better that it is mainly trade than actual attempts at military of the world. Sorry to break it to you but Trump is a globalist with his business ventures putting his brand in other countries, his bombing of Iran, and his illegal bombing of Venezuelan boats. Trump just wants to be the unquestioned mob boss of the globe.

I dont get your drift. The Global South is not free to do its own thing? How is it not some kind of colonialism if the west considers the Global South acting to promote its own interests as a threat to it? If the west will not allow the Global South to promote its own interests then it is the west that threatens the Global South

I think you're kind of missing the point. One situation is where the relationship is better between the west and the south, and another is where the south is instead aligned with the west's adversaries and there's a lot of hostility.

Terrific! Where have I seen this before? This is the Russian thesis. And what did the west say? Ukraine is an independent country and can align with who ever it wants; Russia has no say in that. Now the Finnish President appears to not appreciate that the Global South are sovereign and free to align with whoever they want. Instead the Finnish President sees this as a threat
