Lawrence O'Donnell has meltdown during filming of show.

He wasn't on the air. They were taping.

O'Donnell's meltdown is not all that rare. It happens in television studios and on scene reporting.

The interesting thing to know would be who released the raw footage and who decided to post it online? My guess is the motivation was political. It is propaganda. We see propaganda coming from both sides. Sounds to me as if it has been successful with some of you.

Page Six says that TV insiders believe, because of the quality of the clip, that NBC senior staffs are responsible for the leak and that this was in retaliation for O'Donnell's contract negotiation "antics" this past spring:

Sources connected with the leak tell Page Six the video was slipped to the site as a broadcast-quality digital clip--and that only a handful of people are believed to be capable of accessing and transmitting such a file. Multiple sources tell us that O'Donnell angered NBC honcho Andy Lack--who also oversees MSNBC--by tweeting to fans about his contract negotiations.

Reminds me of O'reilly

You beat me to it. I think this type of reaction isn't that abnormal in the industry.

I don't get what you think this is about other than an on camera personality having technical problems and having to correct them. What is the big deal that this deserves this treatment?

Seems to me that it is wishful thinking.:lol::lol: But sorry, aint happening!:lol:

Not this lefty. Never have.

I'm responding to (Losing insurance does not mean losing healthcare. Your absolutely right! Just go to the Emergency room and wait hours to be seen and quadruple the national debt since under the AMTALA law Hospital emergency rooms have to treat everyone irrespective of their ability to pay and thus get reimbursed for their services through the Federal budget. But people like Dick Cheney and Bill Clinton who have all the money in the world still use that FREE Cadillac insurance that congress gives to all members of congress or senate or Presidency or vice president for the entire lives even if they serve only one term. Ya see they have that evil Socialized medical insurance, the type that many republicans don't want you to have. And why don't they want you to have that type of insurance, Wealthy Donors. Those wealthy donor are telling those republican legislators, you want my donation, you had better get me my TAX BREAK. Can't get that without killing healthcare. And if you think that Grahm CaSSIDY IS A GOOD DEAL. lETS SEE HOW YOU FEEL WHEN YOUR DYING PARENT CAN'T GET HOSPICE. Or if your child is born with a pre existing condition and the insurance company who says that they will still give you coverage for that pre existing condition but it's legal for them to charge you what ever they care to. That's Grahm CaSSIDY. good luck.:lol:

We all have bad days..... I bet if we were taped there could be some pretty embarrassing stuff.

What would happen if we changed the name from O'Donnell to Trump most would not be so forgiving. :doh

He can't get two sentences out of Trump bashing and has a meltdown on the set over BS.

Obviously the control room was really screwing up his broadcast, I don't blame him.

Because the hateful right wants it to be an issue. This is just another in a series of dog whistles they blow and only they can hear.

Hyperbolic propaganda statement word salad with little to no cognitive meaning. News at 11.

It had enough meaning for you since you recognized yourself in the criticism, it pissed you off and you had to reply.:lamo

I don't blame him at all for his frustration. What's to be criticized is his behavior. He had a foul-mouthed prima donna tantrum. Being a diva has nothing to do with politics but everything to do with maturity and character and understanding what professionalism means.

Well, some people can get over the top. I don't like it either, but he had a reason to be upset. Is it possible that perhaps the control room should have fixed the situation; I mean, it's only their job.

The guy has some serious issues, could may be use some anger management. Other than that, I agree.

Calling nonsense nonsensical doesn't connotate recognition or anger, just laughing and pointing.

God I wish Donald would go after Lawrence on twitter ...

I am not a fan of his, but I only sympathize with people in these moments. We all have our moments where we react in a poor manner, and most of the time we are lucky enough for it not to be seen. I don't hold this against him, or want to pile on. I do feel a little sorry, because you do get a sense of a person's spirit in these moments, same with bill o'reillys video.

In fairness...I suspect we ALL have at least a few of these moments. We are just fortunate enough to not be on film all the time at work.
