Language nuances

Laser focused is another pet peeve. Lasers aren't focused, their light is coherent - a different critter.

Yeah, I heard that Trump at one point used "less" where fewer was more appropriate. One of his underlings reached forward to offer, "Fewer...it is fewer." Trump supposedly glared and replied, "Do not call me that yet. Wait until after the inauguration."

Might be apocryphal. (Another word that is often misused, as I did here.)
