I told he should have gotten that Declaration of War. Now he made the far, far left mad.By JENNIFER EPSTEIN | 3/21/11 3:01 PM EDT
President Barack Obama should be impeached for approving air strikes against Libya, Rep. Dennis Kucinich said in an interview Monday.
“President Obama moved forward without Congress approving,” the liberal Ohio Democrat told Raw Story. “He didn’t have congressional authorization, he has gone against the Constitution, and that’s got to be said.” Several other members of Congress have also chastised the Obama administration for not doing enough to sell the intervention to Congress, let alone to the American people.
The far left doesn't have gonads to speak of.
Caring if the left is mad is like worrying about pissing off a lizard in a tree. Who gives a damn?
I don't think the far left ever really liked him..
This fact is not comprehendable by many on the right.
I was going to retort but he's right. There are so very few Democrats willing to fight for... well, anything. They roll over to the GOP every time. (probably because they're not nearly as far-left as conservatives seem to think they are)
Literally all the libtards have left is, "Well, at least Obama gives a good speech." Yea, well, that he does. He can run his mouth, he just can't run a country.
There's a way to have it periodically re-authorized as well. Presidential War Powers are the basis for our involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Constitution says Obama must get authorization from Congress but the War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war.
Because he's not far left enough? Cry me a ****ing river.
