About 14.4 percent of mass shooters were foreign-born, and they were responsible for 13.3 percent of murders, roughly in line with their share of the population, and 6.8 percent of injuries in mass shootings, roughly half their share of the population.

It´s a choice of humanity - everyone can decide himself if beeing kind is wise ore not. And there are problems, yes. But 3 / 4 of the stuff in the media are populist right wing lies - same as in America.

You're just jumping to conclusions. Let the legal process in Germany do its work.
 
It seems an update from Deutsche Welle has the number of victims at 18, with some of the victims having received significant physical injury. Mental stress down the road for all victims is not a pleasant thought. Or family and friends, or any that may have been witness to this.

I mean, the part about the possibility the suspect may have a history of receiving treatment for some sort of mental illness trouble.

On the other hand, the point could be made that anybody who would do this would obviously be mentally unstable.
