I don’t know. I thought Americans were tired of Obama being stuck on the issue and elected Trump because he was supposed to have all the answers. Well, here we are still waiting for all the stable genius’ great solutions to N. Korea, Iran, Russia, China, etc....

Somehow oddly enough it seems lots of cussing and lying on the campaign trail are not enough.

One interesting aspect of this particular mess is the degree to which MSM tries to walk along the top of a fence, unwilling to admit that this entire affair was a farce from Singapore forward worried that if they really point out how much of a farce this was, they threaten the value of their do nothing, talking head careers.

Singapore WAS NOT some momentous first step on a road to denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula. It was simply a waltz danced by two deceitful, lying dog, self dealers, Trump and KJU. KJU was not going to denuclearize. Nor was he going to launch a first strike and he could give a rats behind about Hotel/Resorts on the beaches of NK. Though NK nukes do represent a threat, the actual threat hasn't got anything to do with the garbage that spews from Trumpkins mouth on this topic and it never has.

Trump's response thus far has been to impose sanctions and suggest the DPRK agree to stop nuclear weapons development and testing - what is your nation doing beyond that?

People were supposedly tired of the dems having nothing to offer but the same ol', same ol' elitist egghead academic nonsense. They were supposed to be the party with the standard approaches. Trump the exciting Manhattan real estate guy outsider was supposed to have all bold new answers and approaches. But who knew that the "nonstop cussing and lying" approach were not going to help?

What they did was to behave better (pause testing?) for a while, but soon realized that Trump was not going to relax sanctions based on a promise to simply remain "paused".

The best that can be done is to not take wrong steps. WRONG, like giving Kim the world stage, like only the POTUS can, and Trump did, to elevate his status in the world. Wrong, like speaking admirably of the communist dictator, torturer/murderer of innocent American citizens, which Trump did. Wrong, lick sticking up for him in spite of and against our intelligence service findings on his treatment of the tortured Warmbier, like Trump did. Wrong, like publicly saying "We fell in love", referring to Kim, like Trump did. Wrong, like saying there is no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea following his mole hill summit with Kim, Like Trump did. Wrong, like suspending joint military exercises (cost savings) with South Korea, like Trump did. Just plain wrong, like everything Trump has done to do with Kim and NK.

When Obama SAID he would meet with Kim, the right lost their minds. When Trump ACTUALLY MET with Kim, he's the greatest person ever.

He doesn't actually want to negotiate. Just wants to act like he is negotiating. Sort of like not really wanting Investigations into the Bidens by Ukraine but instead just wanting an announcement regarding Investigations.

I laughed my ass off when the liberals were all chanting that Trump was going to start another war.

Well, the war never happened so they try to save face on the issue by calling Trump weak.
 
I've absolutely no idea of what the concern is here. Please allow me to quote the President of the United States of America Donald Trump.

"Everybody can now feel much safer than the day I took office. There is no longer a Nuclear Threat[sic] from North Korea. Meeting with Kim Jong Un was an interesting and very positive experience. North Korea has great potential for the future!"
