The guy is now going to finally get the help he's needed for many years, unlike the thousands just like him living on the streets and in homeless camps in San Fran who are just as disturbed. Thankfully, Paul wasn't killed.
We ignore the daily reports of crimes like pushing people onto the subway tracks, randomly sucker punching unsuspecting people, or attacking people unprovoked on a sidewalk screaming about aliens, Jesus, the CIA, and secret messages over the airwaves.
This story is no different, except it involves a high profile person during a contentious election cycle. Maybe this was preventable. And maybe there are hundreds more just like him who are about to go berserk, in L.A., NYC, Portland, Seattle, Baltimore. Everywhere that democrats do nothing about the mentally ill in their cities.
