The attorney for the Muslim group, Doug Dillard, said they may sue the city in federal court. He said that in similar fights across Metro Atlanta, he has reached out-of-court settlements after suing the local governments. The cases never went to trial; the two sides ultimately reached a compromise.
Kennesaw City Council rejects mosque proposal
This looks like a great way to drum up some extra cash for the cause of Muslims (and their lawyers):
Well we have made some progress here. Now we both agree that Muslims, like the Nazis, preach hatred against Jews.Yes I understand that there extremists who preach hatred against jews. That still does not make jews a race of people.

Wanting the right to build your church just like everyone else can is a ruse to make money?
1.) false not all Muslims want that, wow get out more thanks
2.) nothing you said would make jews a race or that Muslims practice racism as part of thier religion

No you didn't. But it took you long enough to realize, or admit, that Muslims preach hatred against Jews.I never said that extremist Muslims do not preach hatred against Jews.Extremist Muslims preach hatred towards anyone who doesn't practice their brand of Islam.
Just your first sentence that I said ALL Muslims deterred me from reading the rest. Please put me on your ignore list.

Yes, they do. And what is your point?I do not know if you are aware of this but extremist Muslims preach hatred against anyone not practicing their brand of Islam.
Yes, they do. And what is your point?
Do you know the difference between 'extreme' Muslims and the regular kind? What sort of beliefs do the 'extreme' Muslim have?
The Qur'an does have a few bizarre things to say.7th Century Arabic tribal beliefs supported by rather bizarre interpretations of the Qu'ran
So does the bible. The Qur'an does have a few bizarre things to say.
Yes, it does. But the topic is Islam and Mosques. So does the bible.

Post 387 answered your question.Did you see the previous question?
Do you understand that Muslims preach hatreds against Jews, even to their own children, and would like to 'wipe them from the map'? Are you familiar with any of this?
I don't think the Mosque will be banned but Muslims should be confronted for what's happening in the name of their religion. If they can riot over a cartoon then they should be able to speak out against the treatment of women and you girls, as well as their denial of rights to other religions. If we banned religious groups from building a church based on what their bible says then hardly anyone would have a church.
Muslims should have the same rights as those members of the Westboro Baptist Church. All are protected under law.I used to like some of you posters who painted all Muslims with the same brush.I used to wonder why Muslims didn't speak out against terrorists, wanted to turn Mecca into a glass parking lot, complained that Muslims wanted to build a mosque near ground zero as though all Muslims were glad 911 happened, felt that TSA should strip search every Muslim boarding a plane and had no problem if their 1st amendment rights were restricted. But I realized that we shouldn't demonize a whole religious group because of what a few whackos on 911 did.We don't stop the construction of catholic schools and other catholic ran facilities because a few priests molested some kids.I do not expect Baptist Christians to speak out every-time the Phelps gang running their provoke and sue scam says god hates fags at the funerals of soldiers. And I actually respect the 4th amendment so strip search every Muslim who boards a plane is no different than the anti-2nd amendment loons in office who wipe their ass with the 2nd amendment.
Christians also preach hatred against Jews, but this isn't an argument for banning churches.

Do you really understand what Muslims are saying about Jews or are you just making it up as you go along?
I have no idea what the 'job' of a Muslims is but you seem to feel that they should not be identified with a religion which condones the genital mutilation of young girls, executes gays and adulterous women and attacks and murders Jews and Christians. Most Muslims did not riot over the Mohamed cartoons. Nor is it the job of every Muslim to speak against those who do terrorism or extreamists who treat women like garbage. Just like its not every Christian's job to speak out against Fred Phelps, pedophile priests, Warren Jeffs or any other person associated with Christianity who does something bad.
Is this discussion about Stormfront? I haven't mentioned the group at all so that was a rather stupid question. Are you defending the Stormfront crowd now? Why aren't you standing up to them?

The topic is about Muslims, not Christians. This trying to divert from the topic is all too tiresome, yet common enough among leftists.Christians who preach hate about Jews. Apparently that's only a problem when Muslims do it.
