I know many can't stand the guy, but I am heartbroken and hoping that he'll be okay.

HYANNIS PORT, Mass. (AP) -- Sen. Edward Kennedy, who is being treated for brain cancer, has been taken to a hospital near his Cape Cod vacation home after complaining of feeling ill.

Barnstable police Sgt. Ben Baxter says a 911 call from the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port came about 5 p.m. Friday.

I don't like the Kennedy's, but that's sad. I hope he finds some comfort.

I knew you wouldn't let me down. ;) Seriously, I can tell you have a heart.

Aww that's so sad. :( Is he part of the big family? That have so much bad stuff happen to them...:(

Champaigne is on ice, and my heart goes out to the Kopechne family.

It's not life-threatening! Yippee!

NECN says it was a mild seizure brought on by a change in medication. He'll be going home tonight. His office says he looks forward to watching the debate tonight.

I was just coming to report that very news. Great minds think alike. ;)

I am so relieved.

pathetic...

Aww shucks. I was hoping people would ignore GottaHurt. Don't give him any importance, ADK! Ignoring someone is a bigger insult than calling them a name, IMO. Apathy is more insulting than disgust/hate/etc. I am confident that he said that to get attention because he needs it to feel better about himself. JMHO

never liked his politics, until members here pointed out how he wasn't as bad as i thought

and as with any human, I hope the Teddy Bear recover's quickly
he is afterall somebodies son/uncle

I've not been a big Teddy fan since he drove off that bridge, and his politics are a bit radical for me. Nonetheless, I wish him a speedy recovery and am glad his illness wasn't more serious.
