Any celebrity who chooses to make their socio-political views known in the public arena must understand that there MAY be a backlash for doing so. It's really that simple. If you don't want to have that sort of thing happen, then keep your pie-hole shut on the political stuff.
Wow, I actually agree with Tigger. Now I must go shower.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut on occasion. Congratulations.
Well....if you wanna know the truth....it definitely made me less of a fan.

You care. You spent your valuable time to read it and comment.Who cares? If we let politics decided who we watched in movies or listened to on the radio, we'd never be able to enjoy those things.
It's not about them as PEOPLE (to me) - it's about their entertainment value and whether or not they have any.
Obviously she didn't have any because I didn't know who she was (and I even use to watch AI religiously - many years ago - slipped my mind completely)
But this comes from someone who likes Type O Negative, Puscifer and worships Trent Reznor like a God. What a teeny bopper like Clarkson thinks is actually HARDLY offensive to me - everyone has a RIGHT to their own opinion of who they support and don't support politically. But even with my taste - I don't CARE about their political views at all - in fact: for some of my favorite entertainers: I don't even know what they are.
I think it says more (Negatively) about those who judge her rather than she herself who supports a candidate because of SOME views she shares in common - she went against the liberal 'rich and famous' grain and people hate her? That's rather Unamerican if you ask me.
A problem - HUGE problem in this country is that people care TOO much about entertainment icons and not enough about the people who will make the big difference in this country when they're elected into office.
Of course it is.
That is good for you. I've never even heard of the bands you're talking about - however if the people I listen to espouse a view I dislike, it's no different than a company I buy from doing something I dislike.
I think she lost them because she got fat.
Yeah, she's real ****ing fat, dude. What's your problem, the government steal your last humanitarian aid package? Do you need me to send you a handful of rice?

Who cares? She's not a ****ing model, she a singer.

A good portion of Americans put a huge importance on how fat a person is. Note that they pretend it's about wanting people to be healthy, but it is mostly for vain cosmetic reasons.

And this is part of what is wrong with America.
for me its neither important, vain nor about their health its just stating the obvious

Well clearly I do. It's not hard to be not fat, you know.
