Again my parents were involved in DCFS for years as foster parents after I left for college. They got involved thru friends in our church, I grew up side by side with their bio and foster kids, saw how the system worked (horribly...they were a great family but the same kids came and went like yo yos because *they were not available for adoption* and some finally died at the hands of their bio parents.)

It is reality. Go take your lies somewhere else. Some people manage to do it thru DCFS and SOME CANNOT.

I'm sorry...but if someone perpetuates the lies....I'm going to call them on it. There are kids in DCFS that aren't available for adoption because family reunification is the goal. But don't pretend that there aren't thousands in foster case available for adoption. To pretend otherwise is cruel to the kids that are waiting hopelessly for someone to adopt them.

As far as the rest of your post....the only people who cannot adopt an infant through DCFS would be people who are not deemed a fit home, otherwise they absolutely can adopt an infant through DCFS.

Feel free to prove your claims. (And give me a break on the emotional crap...my parents adopted 2 of the 'unadoptables.' My mother is a registered nurse, specializing in OB'GYN and got mostly special needs infants. Saddest thing ever)

Gee, I wonder why so many people are on waiting lists for years waiting to adopt?

According to the site below....More than 250,000 children in the U.S. enter the foster care system every year. While more than half of these children will return to their parents, the remainder will stay in the system. Most of these children are living with foster families, but some also live in group facilities.

By the way, the numbers shown above by that agency....not nearly as realistic as numbers given by the USDHHS's / Admin. for Children and families 2013. 399,000 kids were in the system by the end of Sept 2013.

If the formula shown above by AdoptUSKids...only half of the kids go back to their parents or extended family. That leaves a hell of a lot kids in the system.

I've served as Guardian ad Litem for children in the Austin area CPS system who have "special needs". The kind that never go away. I was appointed by CPS court, but I didn't at all represent the State's interests. I worked for the kids. I spent most of my time in CPS court fighting to get resources for them. And I can tell you from experience...and many conversations with people who held high position in CPS...that it's virtually impossible for these type kids to be adopted. But the kids who are considered "normal" by the state...unless they came into the system as infants, their chances of being adopted drifted away almost exponentially the age of about 5 or 6.

The reason so many don't get adopted out of state systems is because many (not all) have been abused in one way or another. Sexual, or phyically, or emotionally abused. And some all three. They often require serious professional help to "recover". A lot of kids were exposed to and parents gave them drugs. Yes, that's right...given drugs to by their parents. Some kids were sent to school with doobies to sell...or pills, etc.

There are a number of kids adopted, which adoptive parents want to return to state authorities because they can't manage them. Their behaviors are out of control. And they don't want to medicate them to get them under control.

I'd really like to see where you get your information from...if you don't mind. That way nobody has to say that lies are being perpetuated.

Abortion clinics have slaughtering and disposing of human beings down to a science. They are evil abominations, and their destruction is a service to mankind. At Auschwitz Professor Carl Clauberg injected chemical substances into wombs of thousands of Jewish and Gypsy women. They were sterilized by the injections, producing horrible pain, inflamed ovaries, bursting spasms in the stomach, and bleeding. This was a crime against humanity, and it happens in American abortion clinics every day.

No, anyone who wants to force women into unwanted pregnancies or unwanted motherhood is the one who is wrong. I am not going to accuse someone of being a pig, but I do know when I see someone who is wrong on all the possible arguments. There is no comparison between nazi's and abortion clinics, keep telling the same nonsense but it does not change the reality, and that reality is that you are giving us false and incorrect comparisons.
