Kansas legislators impose sweeping anti-trans bathroom law

It's not just about being physically attacked. Many women feel threatened whenever a man invades their private spaces.

And it's not just about the bathrooms for that matter.
Is feeling threatened enough of a justification to prevent someone from entering into a restroom?

How many does it take to make you care?
1?
100?
1000?
1 Million?

What's the cutoff number to protect women?
More women have been assaulted by men on public transportation than in restrooms. Do you also favor barring men from using public transportation?

If you charge a man with a misdemeanor for showering in a women's locker room, what other laws have you violated?
Except that according to you and other opponents, a FtM, even with the operation to give them a penis, is not a man. Further, the claim is that people should use the restrooms of the sex they were born with. Therefore, what charge can be brought up for a FtM showering in a woman's locker room?

They actually do this in Japan, segregated public transit systems by sex. I don't agree with it but you should have said segregated rather than an outright ban.

Comparing gender specific restrooms to public transportation is comparing apples to oranges....its a non starter.

I'll tell you how it will be enforced. Just like the laws that prohibit someone not handicapped from using a handicapped space to park. They are not. What happens on occasion is someone mouths off and a fight ensues. As this is Kansas, this will escalate to gun play.
In that case there is a placard that indicates permission to use that space. Are you advocating for some kind of identifier of cis women to wear to indicate that they can use that space?

Turn that around to lesbians attacking a woman in the woman's restroom? How many does it take to make you care?

What about priests attacking little boys? How many before they are banned from being around children? What's that cutoff number?

You mean the same Japan that has mixed sex bathing?

You were the one that asked when a given number of assaults were enough to make bans for.

I'm sorry, I do not recall defending them....your point?

So then you want lesbians banned from women's restrooms as well? Priests from all restrooms?

My memory and google fu is strong. I don't know if this is the same story you were thinking but it's the one I thought of from 2016.

Since some of the videos are missing, I can't be sure, but it might be in the VOX article. The second article's incident is featured in the VOX article.

Keep it to yourself.

Where are the women complaining about this stuff?

Is the world nutterville?

Apparently much lower than the cutoff level to protect children from getting their heads blown off. Could the GOP be bigger douches?

Please explain and provide data?
A link perhaps?
Is this your opinion or do you have empirical data to support your statement?

What an utterly bizarre and idiotic response.

That doesn't seem to be the case, They don't make laws to stop school shootings after just one dead child, so why make a law to stop trans women from using the bathroom when you have no cases of anyone being attacked?
Obviously, because dumbass Republicans are far more afraid that a girl might see a man’s penis in their restroom than are concerned with protecting that same girl from a nut job with a high powered semi-auto rifle.

You make a statement sans data, and you cannot provide empirical data to support your statement, and you claim my statement is idiotic?
Child....time for you to nap.

So dumb. Just, painful.

Good, take a hike.

The point is that we don't have racially segregated restrooms because it is not the government's business to police who is using which restrooms. So-called "restroom laws" are unconstitutional. America doesn't need them. No one has the right to criminalize public restroom use.
Still a dumb and inapt analogy.

And sex-segregated restrooms are 100% constitutional. Government can and should regulate womens' private spaces for the exclusive use of women.
