True that these debates are not scored competitions with a defined set of parameters to declare a winner or loser.

Debates are not about winning or losing it's not tic-tac-toe. So if anybody ever says you one or lost to debate that person doesn't know what they're talking about.

But most obviously, the debates are an opportunity for the candidates to demonstrate why Americans should trust them with their vote.

And this debate didn't help Kamala a bit nor did it help Trump. That's an objective management we can go by.

At debate end, are those undecided in their vote more or less likely to vote for one candidate over the other? Are voters already committed to one or the other more likely to get out and vote?

I don't think these metrics changed one damn bet over that debate.

The effort to sway them is not limited to proclamations of brand-new policy positions but instead includes analysis of their demeanor, their apparent honesty (or lack thereof), their handling of pressure, response to challenges and of course, their intelligence.

They both held the federal office they both have a record so I think we have all we really need to have for that. If anyone shows that they can respond to challenges that's Donald Trump he's been sued he's been prosecuted he's been shot at.

In every way imaginable, Harris crushed Trump on all of those metrics.

No she didn't. I don't think she gained any more support. And her running away from the issue that's on everyone's mind shows that she can't handle challenges

Trump did or said nothing to sway any undecided voters his way. But he did do a great job pushing those people towards Harris.

I don't think that's the case if it was we would have saw a jumping Harris's poll numbers that we didn't

So yes, he quite obviously "lost" the debate.

That's been law in many states for years. The parents and doctor decide if they should take extreme measures to save the life or keep it comfortable until it dies naturally. That's called hospice or palliative care, or comfort care and the legal representatives can choose that for anyone they are responsible for. It's a medical practice not limited to newborns. It's used when the condition is terminal or if there will be little or no quality of life (in pain, on machines for life, no consciousness, etc).

No people, including newborns, are being killed. Do you get it now? It's used to push an agenda and uses inflammatory language to do so. Just like "abortions right before birth!"
