Vice President Kamala Harris' prediction about the Virginia governor's race may come back to bite her and her fellow Democrats.

Back when she was campaigning for former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, Harris said, "What happens in Virginia will, in large part, determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on."

The radical left that holds a razor think margin in the House and Senate is running the country like they own it is now seeing the country rebel against Progressive/Radical/Liberal policies that destroy the family, promote radicalism/anti police, massive gov't control over the schools, open borders, massive tax and spend policies. Still amazing how many still don't get it. Congratulations Virginia on getting it right and hopefully NJ as well. The D doesn't stand for what it used to and the people are getting it

What yesterday showed is you can only push the American people so far and they will rebel. NJ is still too close to call as the D behind a candidates name still carries some weight ignoring the platform and results

NJ is the more interesting of the two gubernatorial races because there are more registered Democrats than there are Republicans, so the crossover appeal of Ciattarelli is curious. I don't think he ran a particularly strong campaign, which raises the question of what aspect of his messaging resonated beyond the GOP base. McAuliffe's focus on connecting all the Youngkin dots to Trump backfired big time, because what little I've seen felt a bit much; I can only imagine how much worse the local ads must have been. Murphy in NJ did a bit of this too, but not to the level of McAuliffe, and there's a bit more margin of error in NJ given the registered voter breakdown by political party. The mail in ballots still have to be counted, so we'll see how things pan out here.

Yep, there's no denying that. The biggest hit is Sweeney's (Senate president) loss, which will make things interesting in the state legislature for Murphy. I don't think Democrats can ignore the results of this off-year election, and if things remain the same as the 2022 races kick into full gear, it will be rough ride for the party.
