Thanks for answering.
Yes, I have no respect for him at all.
It's a given that the tens of millions who loathed him before, still loathe him. (Perhaps like you, more).Has anybody changed their mind about DT since 1/6?
Me? He's even worse than I thought. I don't don't know if that counts as a change or not.
This will probably be a short thread, but you never know.

It's also a given that there are millions who still worship the man, and always will.
But there has to be people who supported him previously, but no longer do.
Stated alternatively, if there has been a change, it has to be towards the negative.
Another reason why he'd be insane to run again in 2024.
what i have changed since J6 is my view of tRump toadies
with so much information now available showing what a crook he was (is), and they still support him
that 1/3 of the nation's population includes many of my family members and friends. while we still get along, i do think less of them for their continued support of an obvious con artist
Prior to 1/6 I thought he was an incompetent and inept President, but I could imagine voting for him over an even more incompetent and inept alternative. That is what I'm trying to get a feel of.
Indeed. All of the reasons to vote against him have increased tenfold since election day. His failed attempted coup d’etat confirmed everyone’s worst expectations of him, and every day he continues to open his mealy mouth to regurgitate the BIG LIE, he reinforces and augments all the reasons people voted against him. I don’t think he can win his party’s nomination in the future, no matter how low the fawning obsequious bootlicking Republican Party is willing to prostrate themselves before him from now through the midterms.Has anybody changed their mind about DT since 1/6?

I agree. Their commitment to this man always confounded me but to ignore the information now out there puts them in two camps for me. The incredibly malleable who are incapable of independent thought and those who know how horrible a person he is and what a threat to democracy he is and just don't care. I think I respect the former more than the latter.what i have changed since J6 is my view of tRump toadies

Just curious. Have you ever actually researched the policies and administration of the government while DT was in office. The economy was rolling along at it's best in over 40 years, the border was at it's most secure point in decades, we were not spending billions financing a war, gasoline was averaging about $2.00 a gallon, you could find toilet paper and baby food, NATO nations for the first time were paying their "fair share", we were energy independent, and 4 million more people were working than are working in the US today. For some reason the left media never reported on the many positives of the DT presidency, only on his personality.Has anybody changed their mind about DT since 1/6?

All of that stuff you like as a matter of policy should have gone out the window when Donnie led a Coup to overthrow the Republic.Just curious. The left has been on a crusade to erase Trump and his Presidency since the 2016 campaign and election when they all predicted his failure and said his campaign was a big joke. They were made to look like fools and it seems that they didn't take well to that and have been trying to prove themselves ever since. In the mean time they have lied to the american public both in commission and omission of their "facts".
The reason I specifically mentioned 1/6 was, as have said in this thread, I get the support before. After his direct assault on the elections, I just don't get it.Just curious. We know that ain't happening!I would like another candidate, but I will vote for him if he is the one up for election, over Joe Biden or whoever else, short of a somewhat moderate liberal along the lines of...JFK, the democrats decide to run.
No. And I agree that his actions have become worse (except he has no power to do anything about it).Has anybody changed their mind about DT since 1/6?
