Just as I predicted, yet another mass shooting...

You haven't posted once to outlaw knives in the UK..... yet here you are proposing the we pay attention to your nonsense.

Outlaw knives??? I assume you have a new device designed to cut food so people can eat.

Exactly. That his problem, not mine. He should focus on his problems, not ours.

People in England are SIX times more likely to be stabbed - or attacked with acid - than people in the US are to be shot...

Should we Yanks do something?

A Stab Aid benefit or something?

It's a humanitarian crisis over there!

Oh god....more made up nonsense

Let's get Voter ID in place universally first. It's already the law in gun shops, why not demand that the laws be enforced? I know: too much Obama....his administration ignored our border laws, and you apparently think it's OK to ignore our gun laws in the same manner.

No let's do gun control first. I guess trump has not been enforcing the law for the last 2 years

No you ate posting fake nonsense

Mass stabbings are scary too - I understand there were six in UNDER six hours in London recently. (I hope England can get their mass stabbing epidemic under control.)

But yeah: people are violent.

GENUINE mass shootings are INCREDIBLY rare in the US - as rare as mass stabbings are common in England.

Food for thought.

:)

Well, then feast on this:

And banning them from men as well....right?

No, it's not the men objecting to the use of firearms. But the liberals/blacks are. So they should voluntarily have them banned for themselves.

Oh, Whatabout is the approach you take. He's made great progress on the wall and border security, fighting you Open Border libs all the way. The gun laws are in place.

Then why did gun deaths and mass shootings increase in 2018?

You mind pointing out how that is a valid argument?

"The 4 week body count in Baltimore alone outdoes this "mass shooting" by 600%". So Baltimore wins?

It's a survey. How hilarious

The British Crime Survey figure of 130,000 knife attacks is substantially higher than the police's figure

Oh my.

Anyone who has ACTUALLY served as a LEO knows that officers in destination cities like London, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and so on are placed under ENORMOUS pressure to downplay and underreport serious crimes like stabbings, sexual assault and so forth.

There's no mandatory reporting requirement in England for the extreme humanitarian crisis of knife attacks there, but we have mandatory reporting here for firearm injuries.

So we're placing the wildly underreported >official< knife crime statistics in England up against the accurate firearm statistics here.

But at any rate, we Yanks are standing by in England's time of need.

A knife attack every FOUR MINUTES...

They don't have to settle for that!

WelI was a lvmpd cop. Where were you a cop?

Do you know you are comparing two cities with an incredibly low murder rate for 8 million people??? They are fighting it for lowest.

Oh I know that, but the point there was to show that the UK was actually comparable to a state in the supposedly more violent US.

Besides the whole point of this was to still show that the UK actually had such problems with acid attacks, and still does.

Now I'm firmly ready to get back onto the main topic of the thread.

The FBI are who I go to for what is considered by them a mass shooting. And anyway what the hell do semantics matter? You have an epidemic you seem uniquely impotent to address-and all because NRA bribes are filling the pockets of those in government with the power to do something. While US politicians continue to consider cash more important than the people they are elected to represent, these killings will continue unabated.

Point one. Attempting to poison the well, as well as personally attacking the person you're supposedly debating this issue with. Are two of the quickest ways to reveal that you don't have an interest in actually discussing the topic in earnest.

While point to is that the best way to deal with these incidents is to actually enforce the laws we have on the books. Not make new, even more arbitrary ones. Because those people pushing for stronger gun control, without the first point of knowledge in any kind of firearm. Are in my opinion, not the kind of people that should be allowed to make such haphazard decisions.

Why would you assume I have no knowledge of firearms? Whilst with the Royal Fusiliers (many years ago), I trained on SMLE, FN FAL, Sten, Stirling and Bren, and gained 'Marksman First Class' with the Lee Enfield, shooting at 100 and 200 yards.
