he wants someone else to raise it in a pen where it doesn't know freedom, in a feed lot cramped and just eating who knows what kinds of feed, and defecating and standing all day for months and months in it, then he wants someone to kill it, hang it, butcher it in conditions he has no idea what they are, package it, treat it with chemicals so it doesn't go bad, inject it with stuff so it doesn't lose its red color, ship it to a store, ....

so he can humanely buy it without ever having to worry where it came from


the buck I killed last week? lived its entire life free, wild, organic ......... now granted it didn't weigh but 80 pound and was 1.5 years old but still, I killed it, butchered it, packaged it ... I don't need someone else to do that for me

and the people who DO need it ? that's ok - I'd appreciate it if they support my choices like I support theirs
