Judge to Trump-terminated ethics watchdog: You’re un-fired

Interesting. It looks like instead of an elected Chief Executive we have appointed judges that are now in charge of the government.
No, they are a check against lawlessness.

WARNING: Anyone who supports the rapey felon and his Administration has shown they have no ethics AND support rapists and crooks.

Who wants to work with or for someone like that?

Who wants their children taught by someone like that?

Who wants to be friends with someone like that?

Judes doing what they are constitutionaly supposed to do.
It's more like the judge decided that he, not Trump, runs the Executive branch. If this precedent is allowed to stand then any judge anywhere can dictate what the elected president can and can not do or, at minimum, obstruct everything that the president does. That's a ridiculous violation of Constitutional principles.

The precedent that laws apply to the president? Imagine!

Well, they really should identify that "overreach" before they stop it. I'm not really sure that an Executive branch decision regarding an agency of the Executive branch constitutes "overreach".
As usual, you would be wrong.

Yep, and managing and directing the Executive branch is precisely what the judicial branch is thinking they can do. They think they can actually prevent the Executive branch for doing its job. They will end up quite wrong, IMO.
Well this does prove a point I made on another thread. The Trump Administration, in partnership with RW media, is directing the thinking of Trumpers. Breaking the law is not the job of the Administration and several actions so far are in direct conflict with the law. Instead of illegally defying court orders a challenge should be made within the judicial system.

We'll see how long this kind of judicial activity lasts. That the judicial branch thinks they can take over a co-equal branch (for doing its job), is crazy.
The firing of the ethics czar was illegal. Even the Executive Branch can't defy the law.

Just ****ing impeach him now. You all KNOW that he's a criminal so just get the damned thing out of your system and start the proceedings.

Such disdain for the rule of law.
Just ****ing impeach! Why is that so hard? Trump broke the law and when that happens you start impeachment proceedings. This isn't about me, it's about Trump so get on the phone and start calling your representatives to get the ball rolling.

Will you encourage Republican representatives to vote to impeach?

Congress impeaches.

The judicial branch makes sure the reich-wing does not violate the law.
Robert Reich would not appreciate your comment.

One of the problems Musk is turning up is that oversight has been lacking in many areas.

Trump knew he'd fact Democrats using the judicial system as weapons/tools ...

he'll still win in the end

We would love to.

There are no republicans left that have the balls to do the right thing. When 2027 gets here, count on it.

Will you encourage Republican representatives to vote to impeach?
Sure. Why not? Trump is a bigger threat than Hitler so we may as well impeach. Heck, we should impeach when ANY Republican wins an election. The only way we can save democracy is if we only elect Democrats.

This is a dishonest bullshit statement. Nobody is "facting" anybody.

Trump broke the law and got called on it.

he'll still win in the end
Nope.

He's going to be the only POTUS was impeached 3 times.

Well they have some oversight powers as part of our checks & balances. It's always been that way.

What a weird response.

Trump is not any Republican

In fact he is the ultimate RINO.
