Lamberth said there's a process for eliminating funding that had previously been appropriated — Congress must vote on it, as it recently did for NPR and PBS funding. But that hasn't happened here, he said.

He scolded the administration for providing “cagey answers” and omitting key information when asked for it in previous court orders.

“Without more explanation, the court is left to conclude that the defendants are simply trying to run out the clock on the fiscal year, without putting the money Congress appropriated toward the purposes Congress intended,” Lamberth wrote. “The legal term for that is ‘waste.’” There was no immediate comment from the White House.

Thanks for bringing this here.

Donald isn't interested in your little opinions on what court orders he should or should not be beholden to, and instead demands that you stay in your lane.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

President Trumps response:

Go ahead and impeach me if you don’t like it…..

"Waste" to not spend money? If I were Trump I'd be ignoring these demands from partisan courts interfering with my actions as President too. I'm not surprised at Trump's contempt for such courts. After all, he was subjected to several acts of lawfare in partisan courts prior to re-election with the goal of preventing re-election. Now all the Democrats have is more lawfare, and I guess Trump is simply tired of it. I expect Trump to once again get Congress to affirm his actions if need be.

I'd love a court to drag Trump in to personally explain why he's ignoring them.

If I ignore the court I get to spend time in the slammer but not Trump.
Trump is above petty human laws now.

Wow. Just wow.

It’s absolutely shocking what Trumpism has done to this country. The party of law and order. Just when you think you have seen bottom, it still keeps going. This country is F’d.
