NEW YORK (AP) — A judge is postponing a decision on whether to undo President-elect Donald Trump’s conviction in his hush money case because of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity.

New York Judge Juan M. Merchan had been set to rule Tuesday. Instead, he told Trump’s lawyers Tuesday he’d delay the ruling until Nov. 19.

According to emails filed in court, Trump’s lawyers asked for the delay over the weekend, arguing there are “strong reasons for the requested stay, and eventually dismissal of the case in the interests of justice.”

This will get crushed. It's a matter of time. Merchan is an idiot who likes his 15 minutes of fame. He allowed testimony from two witnesses from the Trump administration which included priveleged conversations that fall under the SCOTUS ruling on immunity. He's an ass.

This case was always meh to me. That fact that he refused to return government documents when directed and hid them from his lawyer and the government should have ended him. Absolutely a disgrace and an insult to anyone that ever had a security clearance.

Is that like taking hammers to blackberries?

Can’t say I know what you mean. Reason tells us when the government asks for their documents back you should give them to them. It’s been that way my entire life. You probably disagree.
