Juan Williams Slams MSNBC: ‘I Don't Think They Even Have Any Pretense of Balance’

At night, you're right. But MSNBC is BS-ing 24 hours a day, while Fox is a legitimate news organization for a good part of theirs.

Not to mention that MSNBC is violently biased to the point of absurdity, while Fox is much more subtle and classy about its conservative lean.
Fox mixes real news with garbage making it difficult to tell which is which for many viewers. That done by design.

There's not a single host on MSNBC that isn't in serious need of psychiatric care.

Olbermann, O'Donnell, Maddow, Baldwin, Sharpton, Schultz, that creepy Chris Hayes dude, that icky black girl with the lisp.....yikes.

Nurse Ratched has to be lurking around there somewhere.

if you are trying to bait me, its not working. ;)

Bait what? I'm just stating the obvious. Delusion is on you.
I'm delusional? lol. I've noticed you've changed your avatar since the election.

Such a small-minded view of things. I'm fortuntate enough to thrive on because I made my way long before this viral abortion of a president arrived, while you get raped by this ideology over and over and keep coming back for more. You don't even know what you're in for. I honestly pity you for that.

Ed Shultz, not balanced.
Rachel Maddow, not balanced.
Chris Matthews, not balanced.
Steve Hayes, not balanced.
M. Harris Perry, not balanced.
Lawrance ODonnell, not balanced.
Where is MSNBC's balanced approach to news or current events?
At least Fox will have a panel of liberal and conservative speakers.

MSNBC doesn't claim to be balanced, Fox does and clearly they are not. If you don't like what MSNBC does then don't watch. There is part of Fox I really love and that's their attempt to be king makers. In the last two presidential elections, they were able to put two losers in the general election. They will do it again in 2016, just watch.

They are not the "king makers". We are. Get it straight.

They don't really. They find people that are either sort of liberal, or the worst liberal out there. Depends on what their goal is.

Should we list the talking heads on the right who are biased?

But they try to be, that's the problem. They were solely responsible for the circus you saw in the election cycle. The person who could have beaten Presidential election and the one he feared the most was Jon Huntsman. But he wasn't wacko enough for Fox and their views. He wasn't given a chance.

Talking heads are biased by nature.

You mean these guys?

Seriously, though, you're absolutely correct. Crue's post was a list of liberal talking heads, who are undoubtedly biased. There's a good number of equally biased talking heads on the other side.

You're correct he didn't say that, my bad. However he didn't say Fox News is balanced either. He said "some balance." Williams also implied MSNBC didn't have people from the right, when they do - Michael Steele is an example. Howard Kurtz said he would be in another line of work if it wasn't for Fox, but that's not true, he was worked for NPR

Don't forget that one of MSNBC most popular shows is hosted by a republican.

Morning Joe

Saying that is like saying Fox is balanced because of Alan Colmes and Juan Williams.

Both claims would make someone look downright stupid.

MSNBC is not a news network they are a political news network who leans left.

Please name me the Political shows on fox that is balance?

That manure spreader needs to run for president. At last we will know what we are getting.

Hannity had a panel of both liberals and conservatives on just night before last.
They employ liberals such as Juan Williams and Bob Bechtel as well and have them on various shows daily.

I'll say this, socially, Joe is not that conservative. But fiscally he is very conservative. Do you even watch the show in the morning? Most mornings they are hammering the president. The only person on that show that defends the president is Mika. And she is extremely week.

I'm not saying that make the network balance, but I am pointing out that they do have personalities that leans to the right.

And I'm saying that Colmes leans heavily to the left. Juan Williams is pretty centrist, but does lean left.

All the goodwill you can try to establish as not being absurdly partisan get erased with Chris and Rachel and the like, just like anyone invoking "Fair and Balanced" loses with Sean and the like.

But so does MSNBC.

They have the former RNC chair and the campaign mangers of the last two republican presidential candidates.

And I agree with you 100%

My post was a response to a comment made that somehow Fox is more balance than MSNBC because they had Williams and Holmes. I personally think they are the same as far as partisanship is concern.
