Why does the NFL care if their players drink alcohol? This is just further proof the NFL sucks.

maybe read the article

Because of his DUI, alcohol is one of the substances for which Josh Gordon was being tested.

seems like a reasonable thing to do

And why would they care about his DUI?

is that a serious question or are you just trolling?

Most employers would fire employees for getting a DUI, the NFL gave him many more chances than any other business would and you say that is proof the NFL "sucks"

Yes. Gordon getting a DUI has nothing to do with his job. Being all morally superior and in the process losing yourself talent is something idiots do. The NFL is filed with a bunch of pansies and morons.

He plays for Cleveland, if I had to play for a team like that I would get onto as many mind altering drugs as possible.

I see you are proving how little you know about yet another subject. He failed 6 drug tests and got a DUI. 6 drug tests. See a pattern yet?

Of course had you actually read the article you would have been more informed.

Yes it does if hes in jail he cant go to his job. Also the NFL is an entertainment business built in no small part due to its reputation

Every fortune 500 company has fired a more integral part of their success than Josh Gordon for a dui or similar law breaking offense.

I guess you think every business is filled with pansies and morons

Gordon, like every player, signed on to the NFL's personal conduct policy by signing a contract. As the DUI is in breach of that policy...

When someone gets fired by a church because they violated what that church deems acceptable, you're right in with the chorus of "Well, she signed a contract." Now it's an issue?

Did it land him jail and get in the way of him doing his job?

If the shoe fits.

This poster once argued with me that he had the right to drive drunk because it wasn't hurting anybody. I'm starting to see a pattern...

You mean the woman that signed that no premarital sex contract? You might have noticed that I called the contract stupid. How long ago did that happen anyway? Two years ago?

What's the pattern you're starting to see?
