Jon Stewart on Gruber.

other than nailing pelosi with her lie abut not knowing who gruber was, i didn't see where stewart scored any hits
what did you see that was found compelling

Whether Ms. Pelosi lied or not we see both the president and the congresswoman acknowledging Mr. Gruber and his ideas. Later Mr. Gruber is attending White House meetings, even with the president. This infers that he was more of an insider (known at the highest levels of leadership) than we're led to believe. That's significant in light of Mr. Gruber's later statement that the legislative intent of the ACA was to coerce the states into establishing exchanges by denying subsidies to the states that don't, the exact question the Supreme Court will be taking up. With democrats trying to paint that as an oversight and not the intent it's kind of damaging to have an insider contradicting that on the record.

I just thought that Stewart strung that info together kind of cleverly.

“It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak.”

That's a Geiman quote. And so true. It's why a COMEDY "news" show gets to punch harder than real news, because real news isn't satire, making it a prime target for endless suits. Satire is the last bastion of truly free speech in this country.
