Look at you degrading yourself with such apologetics. Joe had no capacity to purchase the business, never discussed it with his boss, has been working for the guy for a number of years without getting said license which lends to the idea that he had no intention of becoming licensed.

Social democracy, maybe you should have paid more attention in school, we live in a democratic republic, based on free market economics and maximization of rights and liberties, socialism is the antithesis to that. FYI, the last eight years involved a great deal of socialism. Also, you can leave the emotional rhetoric at the end at home, cause it doesn't effect me or contribute to your point, conservatives statistically give more of their private funds to charity and causes than liberals, we just don't want the government to force that upon individuals as we understand that leads to an erosion of freedom, liberty, and constitutional principles, last I checked, there is no founding document or constitutional law requiring the government to force us to "give two ****s" about anyone.
