No...what it doesnt allow for is politically motivated legislation pushed by scumbag politicians. The Constitution and ultimately the scope of the government is deliberately narrow in focus. We have allowed (demanded) our politicians to **** up the government and in the process limit freedom.Obviously not going to happen.
Essentially the overly restrictive amendment process does not allow for any meaningful change in today's polarized environment.

I understand the sentiment, but disagree the problem rests solely on the executive branch. The [entrenched] R's & D's have turned us into an oligarchy. The swamp is filthier than just the executive.The executive branch (whether under R or D) desperately needs to be neutered, but that is a question for another day.
