Actually having the Senate in Mitch's hands for two more years could be a blessing in disguise, IF, approched correctly. He should explore trade with Cuba, but more than that negotiate better (for U.S.) trade deals with China, keep NK in a small box and stay out of any new wars or combative entanglements. I think you give the American public too much credit. Most don't watch the news that closely, so they won't realize the reason they aren't getting Covid relief is because McConnell is blocking it.
