We know that Trump and his minions attack opponents in the areas where he's vulnerable. We saw it with him calling Hillary "crooked" when he's a notorious crook. We saw them attack Hillary's foundation as a corrupt, when later his foundation was shut down as nothing more than a shell to pay his personal expenses. Likewise, Trump, who can't complete a sentence; has unhinged rants; has about a 200 word vocabulary; can't read from a teleprompter with out botching the words (e.g. Yo-semite) has his sycophants trying to tell everyone it's Biden who has mental problems.

Well, Biden just finished a long acceptance speech in which was perfect and put his mental acuity in full display. Joe Biden's speech wins praise from left and right – but not from Trump "On Fox News, the anchor Chris Wallace said Biden’s was an “enormously effective” speech, adding that Biden “blew a hole” in Donald Trump’s repeated characterization of him as a candidate in decline.

“It seems to me that after tonight Donald Trump is going to have to run against a candidate, not a caricature,” Wallace said. “The Democrats have had a good convention, now it’s the Republicans’ turn.”

The conservative host Laura Ingraham, speaking on Fox News, said Biden “beat expectations” but the speech was “devoid of any policy other than universal masking. But he delivered a good speech for what he was doing, it was very emotional stuff … It was very well delivered.”

The Republican strategist Karl Rove called the speech “excellent”."

His was the only speech I watched. It was the only one that mattered.
He read it all pretty well.

I kept waiting for him to read the directions off the screen like "Show empathy" and "Use soft sincere voice" and "Use firm voice approaching anger but don't show anger" but he dodged that landmine.

There were only a couple of minor eff-ups ... until the very end when he said “There’s never been anything we’ve been able to accomplish when we’ve done it together,”.
It reminded me of when Joey Tribbiani told the Soap Opera writer he never watches the Soaps ... So close.

Moreover, on the big items, he screwed his base and plans to screw them more if re-elected. He completely reneged on his promise to raise taxes on the rich. He reneged on making health care, which many of his base benefit from expanded Medicaid and Obamacare (“I am going to take care of everybody. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now.”) Instead, the GOP plan made it far worse and he's now in court trying to get Obamacare declared unconstitutional, which would throw tens of millions off health insurance and eliminate preexisting condition protection.

If he wins, he said he'd eliminate the funding source for Medicare and Social Security, essentially killing the program that seniors depend upon.

Personally I don’t watch cable news channels but I’ve certainly seen lots of protests, with some rioting and looting. I’ve also seen plenty of heavy handed responses from the police and Trump’s goons. Pretty obvious the protests will stop when the weather gets cold or when Biden is elected.

You’re pretty quick to disparage the character of the Democrats, but don’t forget Americans also have an opinion on the character of the Republicans. As incumbent, Trump has to face the electorate with his own terrible record of dishonesty and incompetence over the last four years. I suspect you might be the one upset in November as the world breaths a huge sigh of relief. And then President Biden can finally fix the health system once and for all.

The democrats want Republicans who are “decent” like Mitt Romney and John McCain. They were “Democrat decent” and lost, costing the US billions in stolen tech, thousands of factories and good paying jobs, and trillions in lost opportunities. “Decent” men don’t stand up to democrats and challenge their captive media, they just lay down and “lose with honor”.

I voted third party in both 2012 and 2016. Now Republicans tell me my vote was actually for Obama and for Clinton. Democrats have the opposite view, they told me and are still telling my my vote for Johnson was actually a vote for Romney and Trump. It wasn't neither, both are totally wrong. It was against both.

As of now, at least, Biden is disliked a whole lot less than Hillary Clinton was in 2016 by these 9 million third party voters. Trump is basically at the same dislike as he was in 2016. That's another number I keep track of, the like/dislike numbers much more than the horse race numbers. History has shown usually folks don't vote for someone they dislike. The higher the dislike percentage, the less vote that candidate will get. Whether they vote for that's candidates major party opponent or vote third party, that's up in the air. But one thing is for certain, the candidate they dislike the most isn't about to get their vote.

Among these third party voters from 2016, Biden dislike number is 33%, Trump's is 45%. How many dislike both, I don't know, that question hasn't been asked yet. Another way to look at, if the election was held today, 3 million out of those 9 million would vote against Biden, 4 million out of that 9 million would vote against Trump. 2 million undecided or not sure. To be more specific, I would have to know the percentage of those who dislike both candidates, which I don't have.

Regardless, it seems clear undecideds are much fewer in number, and will likely not majority break for Trump.

The undecided and third party voters are a lot fewer this year than in 2016. Roughly 8% give or take a point this year. At this time in 2016, they were at 20%. 12% stating third party, 8% undecided. Those 20% broke 8 for Trump, 6 for Clinton and 6 for third parties. Hillary was basically the incumbent running as an Obama third term. So your correct, they usually break for the challenger.
