Jindal has no future in GOP politics

It's been suggested by some media outlets that romney is considering Jindal as a possible VP pick.

The simple answer to that is yes he should, if he wants to commit political suicide. If jindal is picked, all the Dems would have to do is expose Jindal's real first name--Piyush--to the American public, and voila, Romney is history.

GOP voters are mostly bigots and won't stand for anyone they suspect doesn't meet the definition of what they consider an "American"--and that's someone who is either White or Black with a boring American-sounding surname like John or Mitt. Jindal's ethnicity, however, is Indian--his parents are immigrants from India, and Jindal's real name is Piyush.

The only reason Jindal won the Governorship of LA is because they were duped into thinking Jindal's actual real first name is Bobby and that he's a White man with dark skin, because that's what Rush Limbaugh told them.

However, Rush is not a God (despite what many GOPers believe), and while he may be able to dupe the conservative voters in one state into believing something false, he won't manage to do that for the whole country. When it comes out that Jindal's first name is Piyush and that the reason for his dark skin is due to his Indian ethnicity, GOPers everywehre will jump up and down and scream "raghead."

wow, Considering all the overt anti-white racism it's probably a safe idea to only vote white.

The "conservatives don't like brown people" narrative is so tired. It's just not true about most of them. Just like MOST liberals do not hate southern white Walmart shopping Christians.

FWIW, I usually side with conservatives and I find the "half breed" thing in this thread offensive. That poster does not represent a majority of conservatives I know in fact I would thing most conservatives in this thread are embarrassed by his foolishness.

But broad brushing the whole GOP is wrong, and bad debate.

Very well said.

geez, people. I used half-breed to spin up some of our left wing friends. Seems to have worked. What racially descriptive term would you prefer for someone whose father is black and mother is white? bi-racial, multi-racial, half black, half white? BTW, I am probably one of the least racist people on this forum. I have friends and business associates of all races, ethnicities, and religions. I live in New Orleans where diversity is not only accepted, it is celebrated. So don't try to put any labels on me just because I used a term to get under the skin of the lefties.

We get way too hung up on words and political correctness. Did any of you who are objecting to half-breed, show the same outrage when Mahr called Palin a C--- and a B----?

I think I smell some hypocrisy.

If you use words like "half breed" to rile up people, you probably just use them regularly. The fact that you had to tell us all about your black friends, well - that just smacks of apologetics.

As far as Maher goes - I didn't know Maher was a member of this forum. Is he? Why the hell should we care what he says? And if we are supposed to care - that would be for another topic including the title "Bill Maher" and "Palin". Not Bobby Jindal and the GOP.

Since you don't know me at all, its a bit presumptious of you to claim what words I use regularly. If someone was offened by the word half-breed, I really don't care. I am offended every time obama stands up and represents the USA. He is an embarrassment to this great country, not because of his racial make up, but because of his incompetence and arrogance. I would feel the same way about him if he was a lilly white curly headed irishman, or a bald headed american indian. Its not racial, its philosophical.

So which racist comment do you want? Joe Biden's? Howard Dean's? Nancy Pelosi's?

This is about Bobcat's. Despite your desperate attempts to make it all about Liberals, there are racists on the right.

Thank you. I've been careful not to say his comments represent the entire Conservative side. It's just as wrong to tar the entire left side. I'm not going to defend Joe Biden here.

Anybody who wants to defend Bobcat is free to do as they wish, but it's not about Biden, Pelosi, Byrd, or anybody who has ever belonged to the Democratic Party. If you want to play that game, start a thread and we can all post the racist comments made by any Democrat or Republican throughout history.

Its not racial, its philosophical.

Then criticize his philosophies and policies, not his race.

I would feel the same way about him if he was a lilly white curly headed irishman, or a bald headed american indian.

What if the "irishman" were half Scottish? Would he be a half-breed then?

Most, if not all, African Americans (who didn't come from Africa themselves) have some white heritage. Michelle Obama does, Emmitt Smith does, most likely Hermann Cain and Clarence Thomas do too. Most white Americans cannot trace their heritage back to one European nation. Everybody's got a great grandmother who's a "half-breed." I have a great-grandmother who was 1/2 native American. That's what it is.

No, you use the term half-breed to define any human being, let alone the President of the United States, it's racist.

thats not true. we saw Bush's college and military records, college records of both clintons, Kerry, Edwards, Palin, Biden, Gore. Hiding ones background indicates that there is something in it that might cause damage to his campaign, or worse, to his credibility.

Romney has provided his recent tax returns, which presidential candidate has ever released 20 years of returns?

Actually, Bush's military records were mysteriously lost somewhere. But don't let facts get in your way.

Bush Military Records Destroyed - CBS News

Since you don't know me at all,

Here is what I do know about you - you called Obama a half-breed like it's a regular term. Then when questioned on it - you didn't backtrack. When members of forum on both sides of the spectrum called your comments into question - you all the sudden needed to tell us about your black friends as proof that you're not racist. That smells of desperation and refusal to simply admit you were wrong in calling a "half-breed". There isn't a philosophical discussion on the word "half-breed" because anyone with any common sense knows that humans aren't divided by breeds.

I'm sure there's a valid reason for them being destroyed. Maybe because of the top secret missions that he was sent on?

Hahahaha..... WHAT!?!?!

Even in bizarro world that doesn't make sense. Think about clearly. If Bush, a barely above average school boy - somehow made it into the top echelons of our pilots - why would ANY documents regarding his service be destroyed? FFS. The US government and its mighty military can find Saddam Hussein in a hole in the middle of Iraq but it can't figure out a way to safely keep records of "top secret missions" just for you know.... reference or even curiosity?

Seriously rebson.

I think the top secret mission was working on a congressional campaign while he was in the National Guard and supposedly patrolling the dangerous Texas-Louisiana border in his jet fighter.

OK, this thread is already completely derailed. Is there any evidence of Bush going on top secret missions? Did he even claim to have done that? I'm not aware of ANY evidence or claims that Bush did a bunch of Top Secret missions.

It sounds like the bizarre conspiracy theory about Obama going on secret CIA time travel missions to Mars, cleverly disguised with the alias "Barry Soetoro."

Basically, Johnny, I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself. Find anything. Even find Bush claiming to have done this, and we can at least say it's semi-possible.
