I saw people being purposefully permitted to enter, while on one side of the bldg they were opening the doors letting them pass right in, and on the other side the police provoked the crowd to angst by firing upon peaceful protesters. Which caused havoc and anger, they beat one poor woman to death, killed another with flash grenades. I saw antifa members breaking the windows while the protesters were shouting at them to cease. There were small groups of two or three using crowd control techniques, Ray Epps, the megaphone guy all doing their job in enticing the crowd into entering the Capitol.

All these things are well known and documented, but disregarded by the lunatic left, because they got a political weapon.

Is Jordan a centrist? Obviously not, in fact he's one of the most extreme right-wingers in the House. Is he a competent legislator? Nope. He hasn't passed a single bill in 16 years; is near the bottom of the The Center for Effective Lawmaking's list; he has almost no interest, experience or aptitude at convincing legislators to work together. Boehner once referred to him as a "legislative terrorist." He can't even get voted for the speakership without threatening his fellow legislators, and that still might not work. Did he ignore sexual abuse of multiple students when he was a coach at OSU? Yep. If a Democrat had done the same thing, would Republicans wave it off? Nope. Did he try to overthrow the 2020 election? Was he a key player in that effort? Yup, yup. How does he get away with this? It's because he represents one of the most gerrymandered districts in the US.

Again, by any rational measure, Jordan is a terrible candidate for Speaker.
