Their answer was something along the lines of "it's complicated".
That was a smart answer considering where the question was asked.
Their answer was something along the lines of "it's complicated".
The enlightenment relied more on moving away from dogma.
No I don't. I believe I JUST said both are bad. I even said one is worse than the other.
No.you chimed in with "but the Christians," in order to distract, deflect, downplay, and defend the crimes against humanity perpetrated against gays in the Muslim world. It's what you people do whenever the Muslim.world is brought up.
They used Christian principles found in the bible to formulate their ideas of natural law and natural rights so spare me your revisionism.
The US Constitution is a document which outlines the structure of government and its limitations... it is not a law.
Again you don't get to frame the debate to fit your false narrative. The topic is the oppression of gays in the Muslim world. The topic is about United States Muslims...
That term is a racist term... "you people". Any semi-educated American would know this.
Without a doubt.
But it was an incredibly stupid thing to say
Ya because the treatment of gays in the Muslim world is just peachy keen right?
I really dont have to spare somebody i dont have the least respect for![]()
Without a doubt what? That the Constitution isn't based on natural law and natural rights? If so then this entire conversation has been completely pointless as you don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about.
It is often awful. And treatment of gays by Christians is also often awful
Without a doubt there are no natural laws or rights. Your theocratic ideas are based on a falsehoods.
Again with the false equivalencies and whataboutisms.
You should stop doing that
I'm not the one who chimed in with "but the Christians," in order to distract, deflect, downplay, and defend the crimes against humanity perpetrated against gays in the Muslim world.
Again it is completely irrelevant whether you believe in natural law and natural rights the incontrovertible fact remains that those concepts form the philosophical basis for our founding documents including the Constitution and its amendments.
It was an incredibly stupid thing to say
Hatred against gays in all forms is bad.
Do you agree or disagree?
Spare me your false equivalencies used to downplay the atrocities committed against gays in the Muslim world versus the western world where they enjoy full and equal rights.
Every post you've made in this thread is irrelevant to the question of the heat received by Jeff Goldblum for his questions.
Frankly, no one really cares for your theocratic views, thoughts or philosophy. Nor your pedantic whining.
You need a time out and good cry, then maybe you'll stop with the hissy fits and feel better.
I'm going to pour myself a second cup of joe and deal with the daily realities of this life, take a hint.
Well not full and equal rights in the US
Which amendment in the Bill of Rights does not apply to gays? Which statutes target gays? I'll wait.
So that would be a yes, you want to compare counseling and prayer to execution for existence. Touche.
It isnt counseling and prayer, it is manipulation often combined with electroshock torture masquerading as therapy. You have already shown that you care more about demonizing your opponents than human rights.
