Who would that be? I'm not familiar with any left wing intellectuals. The left are traditionally emotional. Conservatives have been the intellectuals. George Will still writes some impressive stuff. He did leave the GOP because of Trump. Trump isn't conservative.

Other than the occasional Will column, and commentary from ex-GOP actual conservatives, there's nothing about Trump that would evoke intellectual thought from anyone, left or right.

So Occam says it’s the government that is blowing the cases. Or law enforcement. Or the government’s weaponization of law enforcement for cruelty theater.
