J6'ers being released from the DC gulag tonight

Probably shouldn't have held the doors open for them then.
Yes, all the rioters did was walk calmly through the open doors. I'm glad you brought that up. You have won the:

Most Amazingly Stupid Post of the Day

award. Congratulations!

Technically he is elected not appointed but the argument is mostly semantical because the president chooses his running mate
There is slightly more to it than that, because one of the consequences of the VP being elected is that although the President can 'hire' his running mate, he can't then 'fire' him:

The main stream media is not showing any of this.
Why the hell should they? These people are not hero's, they're straight up violent criminals. I sincerely hope they all suffer from frostbite trying to figure out how to get home.

Because this insurrection business is a total miscarriage of justice. They are pardoned and they need to be out of prison NOW!
Not one single person was charged with insurrection.

The GOP never gets to complain about "lawlessness" or advocate for "backing the blue" again.

Great job conservatives - you have sold your souls.

Except the vast majority of them were not convicted for anything related to that.

Over 300 of them were convicted for being violent assholes who attacked cops.
You have to remember this guy has been listening to Trump and Fox News for the last 4 years.

That's why the capitol repair costs exceeded $2.5 million dollars. Because the doors were held open for the rioters.

The alternative was watching the doors and windows get broken out and then getting attacked. The police officers were in survival mode.

Pardoning all the perps in the J6 riots was an incredibly stupid move by Trump. Both ethically and politically.

The republican members of congress are also f*cked by association.

..

Those 300 have not been convicted. Those cases are ongoing. The rest of the 730 are misdemeanors.

Well, this is what America voted for. Lunatics and terrorists running around loose.

These people are pardoned yet they sit in jail today. Only 2 have been released, as far as I know.

A blatant lie. Many of the J6ers who attacked police have been convicted. Many of them even pleaded guilty.

I believe the 6 that have the commuted sentences are those with felony convictions. The rest are ongoing court cases.

“The first two January 6 defendants have been released,” Ingrassia told reporters gathered outside the jail. CNN previously reported that Matthew Valentin had tried to tear a baton from a police officer on January 6, and Andrew Valentin threw a chair at a police line.

CNN has reached out to attorneys for the brothers as well as the DC Jail.

More than 730 people have been convicted of misdemeanor offenses in connection with January 6, according to the latest Justice Department estimates. Further, there are about 300 prosecutions still pending in court as of Monday, including many accused of violent felony crimes, such as assaulting police. Trump’s executive order called for those charges to be dropped with prejudice.

Just a week ago, JD Vance said that Trump “obviously” would not pardon those who committed violence. One week ago.

Here is what Pam Bondi said last week: “I’m not going to speak for the president, but the president does not like people who abuse police officers, either.”

Face it -- Trump is a deranged, ****ed-up TRAITOR.....and so are all of his supporters.

Looked like they were in guided tour mode from the tapes I saw. Also I doubt all 1500 people were vandalizing the capital.

You saw what Fox and other RW outlets filtered out to you. In any event, all of them were trespassing and they all knew it.

Does this look like 'guided tour mode? If so, you need glasses
