If Ivanka Trump is "complicit," as critics and even a "Saturday Night Live" perfume sketch allege, she's not concerned.

"I don't know what it means to be complicit, but I hope time will prove that I have done a good job and much more importantly, that my father's administration is the success that I know it will be," Trump told CBS News' Gayle King in an interview taped Tuesday.

Here we have CNN saying that Ivanka is not concerned about about X when they quote her saying that she does not know what X is. That is a pretty ****ty lie. Also what is the even in "EVEN a SN sketch" supposed to mean? A-re you trying to say she is dumb? Lying? ****ty again, if you have a charge then make it.

Its not ****ty because Ivanka is obviously lying. How the **** could a well educated person like herself no understand what complicit meant? She is clearly is a tough position of being a part of her Dad's administration but not wanting to fully support him, otherwise she would have said as much.

What I don't get is how CNN titles it "I don't know what it means to be complicit" Their quotes, but in the clip they show, she never says any such thing.
They are getting even more desperate, going after Ivanka now. Pretty low.

I am pretty sure she said it....it was a long interview right? This is the only interview she has given since Trump took office, it must have been long.

She is very classy, I like her a lot.

Smart as a whip too.

I agree with you there.

Pisses me off how they go about it. Why didn't they show the part of the interview that backs up their headline? Poor planning on their part. I mean people see the headline and think "Wow, gotta check that out", click on the video...scratches their heads "Huh, she didn't say that". Doesn't rush to check out any CNN links anymore. CNN then wonders why people don't trust them.

Well I have not looked at it but I assume the reason is that through her nonverbal communication it is clear that she was being polite, not lying, not being stupid, and that showing that would ruin the whole anti-Trump narrative that they are desperately trying to sell us.

Apparently the "full interview" is being aired this morning during CBS This Morning that starts at 7am ET.

They have my attention, if that is the best dirt anyone could find in the whole interview she must be good, I am going to watch it to see how good.

Again, you just excuse lying because it happens to be someone you support doing it. Just admit that you don't care about lies as long as it is the Republicans doing it.

Ivanka is fair game as she is part of the Trump administration. I agree the headline is BS, but that's not uncommon and is constantly used by Drudge and Breitbart - hell, everyone. You have to dig anywhere for substance. Don't hold your breath trying to find any, tho.

To echo another comment - she HAS to know what "complicit" means. THAT is also BS.

Ill have to see the video , but it seems likely she was was saying that she doesnt understand why people would be saying that of her, politically. She probably does and is just being political back. This is just politics. She is going to be demonized for not being liberal.

No, she will be demonized because she's part of the Trump admin. Dem or repub, it goes with the territory.

IMO, family is out of bounds, but she made a choice to be a part of the administration. That involvement means she'll get criticism. I'm actually glad she's involved. She's smarter and more level headed than her father.

Of course she does. She's far from stupid.

Though perhaps she meant she didn't know what it means to "be complicit" in the context of being the President's daughter and not that she didn't know the dictionary definition.

The closest precedent is Hillary Clinton. She was extremely demonized.
