Parting ways with most of the Trump supporters who think there was election fraud. It's crystal clear that there is no evidence. Supposedly, Trump's legal team has it and will prove their case in a court of law within the next two weeks, but it seems highly doubtful that any of their evidence will amount to a hill of beans.

I watched the damn left parading their wares, still parading their wares, and hatefully pretending Trump wasn't legitimately elected, blah, blah, and more blah for the last four years. I'm not going to be like them. Biden won. Time to give him a chance to succeed because if I personally don't want him to succeed, I want my country to fail. I'm not in that camp.

Though I didn't vote for Trump, (for my own personal reasons), I gave him every chance to prove me wrong. He did in the ways that I think is important for the country to go forward; the judicial SC picks, the economy, ending wars, and putting the needs of American workers first. He made mistakes and he triumphed despite a huge orchestrated wall of resistance up against him, but let's not also pretend that his predecessor or successor didn't or won't make mistakes.

I'll leave you with this editorial authored by The Washington Examiner that explains why President Trump should now move on, and concede. To me it's about putting all efforts forth on the GA. senate race...

All comments welcome.

Thanks for not going down the conspiracy rabbit hole. I fully expect partisanship to remain high, but hopefully we can go forward with a larger set of shared facts.

Two weeks after the major news organizations declared Joe Biden the US President Elect (November 7).

Better late than never I spouse. Still, you're far more accommodating here than Trump GSA appointee Emily Murphy (@GSAEmily).

trump's only accomplishment is tax cuts for rich people. The only reason he was able to cut taxes on rich people is the republican congress wanted to cut taxes for rich people too.

Everything else he did was by executive order and Joe will undo all of trump's damage on Joe's first day in office.

Stacking the supreme court is not going to be as much in your favor as you hope. At the end of the day the law is the law.

Credit for the judicial SC goes to McConnell for blocking one of Obama's and rushing one through during an election, and to the Federalist Society for giving Trump a list of acceptable names from which to choose them. His role in this was to pick a name from a sheet of paper.

He inherited an economy that had 70 straight months of growth and he goosed it with strategies that are best used to help the economy in a downturn in order to feather his own nest. When we need them, those strategies won't be aseffective.

He hasn't really ended any wars. What he has done is pulled out and moved around some troops for his own purposes without regard to the consequences. But no matter, those consequences will fall to his successor. As will building trust and cooperation with our allies, which he shredded.

The most important reason for Trump to concede is that he is ripping apart our electoral process, a cornerstone of any representative democracy, and building a wall around getting anything done by casting the next president as a cheater.

Considering the damage that he and the GOP have already done to our democratic institutions and traditions, the damage they have done to our public health, and in turn, the economy, it makes one wonder if his meager accomplishments around policy and legislation made him worth it.

The answer should be, clearly, no.

Investigating is fair and proper, but as you stated, we've reached the point where there is no there there. Biden won. It is what it is. And, this time, no Russians were involved.

j/k

I agree it is time for Trump to move on.

I have never wished a President to fail. That includes President Trump. Over the years there has never been a President I agreed 100% with on policies. I am disappointed on how Trump is dealing with the election. It is a black mark on the US.

Please don't make the mistake that article writer makes. There is absolutely NO reason for the Trump campaign to present any evidence to the public. The public is not a party to their lawsuits. Public opinion will not affect the outcome of any lawsuits. Just because the Trump campaign won't detail their evidence in any public forum, that does NOT mean there is no evidence.

Instead of counseling giving up and conceding, I suggest you wait and see how it plays out.

True but they damn well better start showing it in court... States are certifying and courts will be VERY, VERY skeptical of any delay in presenting their evidence... They have already lost several of the cases so far with the judges citing the delay in presenting objections...

True, Trump should only have had one SCOTUS pick, and even that one was coerced, seeing as how someone forced Kennedy to resign early so his son would not face serious charges for financial fraud.

Lower, local court decisions are irrelevant. Those corrupt judges are easily overturned. The important cases will be in federal courts.

lol....Trump Campaign has lost 31 court cases so far, Mycroft. There is no evidence that any judge takes serious. It's high time for you to admit it.

lol..."federal courts" do not pick up cases that are dismissed due to lack of evidence. But, do continue. I love seeing an abundance of evidence showing the Right Wing squirm.

LOL... Are you under the impression that appeals courts allow new evidence to be introduced? Trump University Law School?

They actually do have that obligation. They are making sweeping allegations of fraud TO THE PUBLIC and asking the public to believe these claims. If they want to make public allegations that there was a massive conspiracy involving several foreign countries to steal the election, you're damn right they have an obligation to back those claims up when the allegations are made.

It's incredibly you're defending this, but predictable.

FWIW, just because I won't detail my evidence that Trump and Ivanka have sex regularly does NOT mean there is no evidence of that. I have no obligation to reveal that evidence to the public. I can just assert it as fact, and you should take me seriously because I say that at some point in the future I'll present this evidence to a court.

See how that works?

Rudy did a bang up job last week in federal court. Didn't even know the claims he was making, or the relief he was seeking - literally didn't bother to read his own filings before appearing in court. It was a train wreck. If that's what the "important" cases are going to look like, it might be entertaining in a sick, twisted way, but that's all.

I don't give a rat's ass about your claims about Trump and Ivanka. Doesn't matter one bit if you have evidence or not. Hell, you can even come up with a court case about your claims...I don't care. But that STILL doesn't obligate you to present all your evidence to me. My opinion about your claims won't affect your court case one bit.

It's the same with the election issue. The Trump campaign does NOT have an obligation to reveal all of their evidence to the public. They DO need to reveal it to the court. Whether you give a rat's ass about the court case or not is irrelevant.

Trix I respect you for not succumbing to the conspiracy theories and denial. It's fair not to like one party or be happy they won without the silliness we've seen of late. Good for you and for the forums.

Sure, but to date, that hasn't played out in the courts either. So the question is, how can such massive fraud be so difficult to prove in court in that many lawsuits? There's still time to see if any of the remaining ones will be any different, but one would think out of 30+ lawsuits, more than 2 would have gone somewhere.

"It's time for Trump to concede and move on..."

Never going to happen.

We will see Trump for years to come making the tour to anyone who will listen claim he is still President, it will help kickstart his intentions to give FoxNews a run for their money.

I have never heard that one, do you have a link for that claim?

Yeah, present your propaganda to the public and then tell the libs to let it play out in court.
