It's time for Democrats to step up and do the right thing

Yeah you keep pinning your hopes to that. We'll keep showing how Trump kisses up to dictators, insults allies and Americans, along with his corruption (his temporary appointments to avoid having to have senate confirmations), nepotism (Is Kushner just going to be crowned king of all departments?) and his bungling of the COVID crisis. Good luck with that.

Bungling? Please explain.

No link to WaPo or the NY Times. In your own words.

Actually he has done very well in handling it and getting people the things that are needed as fast as they can get them out.
We are not technically in a recession and nothing that trump has done has caused the slow down.

Govenors have stopped businesses and people from working. Trump has little to do with that.
but this low level information is all i expect from leftist.

no logic no rational thinking.

Voters are not known for either of those. In fact they do not care who is to blame they just want new leadership and a President they can trust to tell them the truth. Trump has done nothing but lie about this pandemic from the start.

I'm talking about the Joe Biden situation.

As you all know I am a conservative and from a political standpoint, Joe Biden being the democratic nominee for president is an absolute guarantee that a republican (presumably Donald Trump) will win the election in November. But what's going on right now with the democratic party is the most heartless and shameful thing I have ever seen. The situation concerning Joe Biden's mental decline is no joke and for me transcends partisan politics. For the last few months, when I see him interviewed I no longer see a political opponent or adversary, I see a human being who's not only in a desperate battle to stay focused on what's going on around him, but he's struggling to both formulate thoughts and communicate them... What sent me over the edge was that over the last few weeks during interviews, it's become clear that Biden knows he's losing the battle and knows he can no longer pretend that there's nothing wrong.

Have a heart democrats. Stop propping him up and pretending that there's nothing wrong with him. It's time to put politics aside and address this situation with compassion and human decency. I may not like Biden much, but neither him or his family deserve the level of embarrassment and publicly humiliation that they will inevitably have to deal with, unless the democrats step in, take control and do the right thing.

.

Democrats haven't done the right thing in 40 years.

well right now trump is still doing really well.
Actually he was going by what WHO was putting out and it was WHO and China that were lying.
you obviously do not understand what a lie is.

As soon as they can figure out a way to cheat Bernie aside...

I have no doubt that biden will win the nomination much to the dismay of many democrats.
honestly the democrats had a chance this year to come with a good middle of the road candidate.

someone that really could appeal to all people.

it was catastrophic for them. instead of doing that they went out and found 20 some of the biggest leftist out there.

Trump has several advantages over biden.

1. His base is way more enthusiastic about trump than bidens is.
2. Trump is still connecting with people and even democrats are saying he is doing a good job in this situation.
3. Biden is simply behind the 8 ball at this point. he has been all but forgotten by the media.

Biden being forgotten at this point may be a good thing for him. Trumps approval on his handling of the coronavirus has been dropping over the last week from a high of 50.6% down to 48.3%. Still above water, but no a trend that could help him.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - Public Approval of President Trump's Handling of the Coronavirus

when averaging out the polls, Republicans and Democrats haven't changed their views on Trump. In the beginning the surge was a result of independents climbing to a 49/42 mark approval on his handling of the pandemic. But that has dropped down to a 46/44 margin. I think the reason for independents rising was during the first few press conferences on corona virus Trump was acting presidential with little name calling nor any bullying tactics. Since the first few Trump has resorted to, shall I say Trump being Trump and his approval now is dropping.

so perhaps the best thing to happen to Biden is him being forgotten about while Trump goes on being Trump roughing up reporters, calling other's names, behaving anyway but presidential. What all of this bides for November, who knows? Way too early to tell.

It also should be known that over the last week Trump's overall approval numbers have also been dropping.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Trump Job Approval

I do think this has more to do with Trump reverting back to his feud creating, temper tantrum, name calling self than anything he has done or hasn't done during this crisis. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. I think independents were looking for a calm, reliable leader which they deemed doing everything possible. Which they got for the first week or so. Not the Trump over the last week as his numbers shrink.

This "declining mental" thing is a false narrative.

One could just as easily, with an edited mashup video, prove the same thing about trump.

And, the only ones who are pushing that narrative are the right.

So, with Bernie, it would be Bernie the commie,

With Biden, mental decline.

with Hillary, she can 'barely stand up, she was sickly, etc'.

We've heard it all before, and I think the electorate is innoculated on right wing bull**** narratives

Therefore, I don't buy your argument that Biden will lose to Trump

See, what we got with Trump, that we didn't have in 2016, is massive Trump exhaustion.

People are simply sick of Trump, sick of him,

People are sick of this blistering, blustering, blathering, bloviating blowhard.

Believe me ( as trump aways says :)

It's amazing that you'd imagine that we'd take advice from the Cult of Dirtbag but such is the cloud of delusion in which the Cult lives and thrives.

I agree. There's no reason for Biden to look desperate for coverage as long as Dirtbag Donnie continues to flounder, fail and fall. Meanwhile, documenting all of that for political spots to be unleashed when needed is the thing to do.

Well, be careful about counting all love lovely chickies, methinks most of them aren't hatched yet.

That's always true, just ask Hillary....

but based on the opposition field, there's lots of clucking going on.

Biden = Corrupt demented shuffling zombie rapist

Democrats = Know it & want Trump to win

How about in King Trump's own words....

Please refer to my numerous posts that this virus was in the United States in November and there was no way for Trump to have known that. Thanks.

Not only has Trump totally messed up the response, he refuses to entertain the thought that there may be problems left to fix:

This is not how someone who sincerely cares about how his administration is performing would function.

And how would you know? No one you folks have put up are paragons to emulate...

as long as polls continue to ask 56% of democrats what they think i will just say the margin of error is bigger than 3%.
at this point polling is a complete failure.

That's why I go by RCP and their averages. You may have a polling firm that does what you say, but they are the exception.

RCP does a rolling average not a weighted average to account for disparity.
they get rid of the high and the low but everything else is muddled but have to admit they are more accurate than others.

That CT is completely impossible because of the U.S pandemic timeline as I have repeatedly told you. We would have peaked ahead of Italy.

As soon as they can figure out a way to cheat Bernie aside...

Bernie lost fair and square. Voters made the decision because that is the way we do it in America. Where ever you are it is probably different.

well right now trump is still doing really well.

Actually Trump was going by his reelection chances if the markets tanked. That is why he delayed vital preparations until the virus was in all 50 States.
