In Switzerland? I highly highly doubt that. Gun control works
We're not in Switzerland. Funny thing is if you really look at Switzerland's gun laws they're fairly similar to ours.

You do realize you are completely wrong and their laws are MUCH tougher than ours.....don't you?

No I mean the stats that 40k people died in traffic last year. But some how the parents of those people don't matter.

Whataboutism is hilarious. You can't talk about diabetes because so many people are dying from cancer. It is laughably stupid

Odd considering how often you say "whatabout other contries. "

Thats a mischaracterization.

Freaking out and demanding bans on things that are used to kill some 400 people a year while scoffing at things that kill 40,000 people a year is focusing on irrelevant things for the purposes of politics not people.

I am talking about gun control. It would be odd if I referred to the dangers of anal polyps in other countries. You meant to say 30,000 people a year

I am talking about gun control.
yes it's political that's what you don't understand why this Statistics are not significant.

Four more people die from car accidents then guns and they're about equally regulated.

It's hypocritical of you to say one is a problem and ignore the other while the other is a way bigger problem

It would be odd if I referred to the dangers of anal polyps in other countries.
it's hard that you think whataboutism is hilarious yet you engage in it I should say it's hypocritical.

You meant to say 30,000 people a year
so you want to ban all guns not just rifles?

Why not just talk about colonizing the Moon I think that would be easier.

you are lying about what I support-one other gun banner claimed that since I believed that state governments have the proper power to prevent children or dangerous felons from buying firearms, I am no different than he is.

There are gun nuts who oppose those restrictions. If you support them (the restrictions), then that is a good sign.

Clearly you never looked at regulations on guns. Try starting there.

Nobody needs a license to carry a concealed hand gun, no that's all made up. I went to an imaginary class that the imaginary state regulated for me to get my imaginary license.

I dont need a license to drive or own a car just to operate it on public streets. I don't need a license to have our shoot a gun just to carry it in public.

Yes not a single regulation exists to protect the public. No safety features on guns have never been mandated by law.

I can just run around waving my gun around in public shooting it anywhere and everywhere I please and I'm not the least bit liable for any damages or injuries caused by my behavior.

Just because you are so incredibly ignorant of the analogy doesn't make it stupid.

You have to have a license to carry a gun in public. Judy like you have to have a license to operate a vehicle on public streets. There are laws regulating safety features on guns just like there are on cars. There are laws regulating composure in public with regard to guns just line there are fur cars.

Seems a very apt analogy to anybody that isn't willfully ignorant.

Comparing guns to cars, which are probably the most heavily regulated mass produced product in this country, is moronic.

who have you ever seen on this board thinks a 5 year old kid ought to be able to buy a firearm or who thinks a convicted murderer ought to be able to pack

it is moronic because gun ownership is a right and you can buy and use a car without a background check and your drivers' license is good all over the USA

I was thinking of those who propose arming convicted felons.

A license has to be renewed annually; can easily be suspended or revoked. A driver is monitored 24/7 via patrols, cameras and things called sobriety check points. Cars themselves must be registered, tagged and meet certain minimal functional criteria to remain on the road--you can't drive a NASCAR on the highway, for example. Manufacturers of cars can be sued, forced to recall their products, and add countless safety features.

There really is no reasonable comparison between guns and cars. None.

what license has to be renewed each year? certainly not drivers licenses

car makers cannot be sued if someone intentionally runs someone over
gun makers may be sued if a gun blows up or fails

Convicted ones

so a 68 year old who burned his draft card in 1968 or got busted for one joint in Texas at the same time should never be able to own a gun?

Declaring things to arbitrarily be moronic is not an argument. Its a cop out.

I made a solid case for why what you wrote was moronic. Could you not follow it?

THems the brakes. Ask the guy who got deported for having a pot pipe 3o years ago.

OK , I guess you don't want them able to vote either. its breaks btw

He is not asking how things are. He is asking how things should be.

and in turn destroyed it. Quite eloquently.

Could you not follow it?
yes but you clearly couldn't follow my rebuttal that's why you posted that brain-dead cop out.

Thanks for the laughs.

What is the statistics of guns ownership would probably commit any crime this would be anywhere from daily to mass shooting like shooting for a example School shooting or whatever. You are saying that those people who done the shootings are advocating for guns rights? That’d be a stupidest thing to say! If my friend said that he was thinking about doing something like that. I would remove their guns and, cause a serious problem where the authorities would get tired of me and, look into it. You know how many times the neighbor or the individual called the Orlando police or the Federal Bureau Of Investigation on Cruz ?
