It is illegal to criticize government in parts of Arizona

Happy to see we agree. She didn't hurt anyone.

Oh, and the government is doing such a grand job of it!

I see her contorting herself so she can't be apprehended. And shoving an officer, however lightly, is technically an assault. So … you wanna make this worse for her?

Oh no, she mildly jostled an officer!
I'm sure he'll be out for weeks after that.

She didn't need to be manhandled in the first place to need to resist.

If that officer was hurt then he needs to find a new job.
Considering how officers routinely treat innocent members of the public much, much rougher than that for no reason it's amazing how little it takes for them to cry assault.

Ah poop, you wrote personnel and I read personal.

Thanks for the explanation. Need to mull this over I guess.

No worries ole friend. We always must allow for a bit of confusion when translating between Canadian and American.

lol...yes, I guess you're right. I was gonna throw a jab back, but given that I'm the one who goofed, I better stay humble...hehe...

Use the Trump method: When you can't be humble, mumble.

how democracy works in America
America is not a democracy, but a constitutional republic. But that's besides the point, which is that your argument isn't really accurate. She got trespassed for breaking council meeting rules, not for criticism. Council meetings will always have rules to allow for organized and efficient discourse. Otherwise anyone can go there and yell over every other speaker to prevent any progress.

Did you watch the video? She wasn't disruptive in the least. The mayor just flipped out when she started talking about why a pay raise for the city attorney wasn't warranted.

So are we now saying that being a dictator on day one is a bad thing?

It's time for a FBI raid on the offices of those officials.

They can all serve hard time.

Wrong as usual.

We are a representative democracy.

In any event, when the lawsuit starts, the city will pay her off and mayor jackboot will be forced to resign.

Spreading bullshit seems to be the past-time of the MAGA terrorists.
I'm responding to OP's question and commenting on his claim. You're doing the usual ad hom.

Wake me up when it happens.

This is a bit rich coming from the guy who defends police misconduct endlessly.
