When I meditate on God's perfect love, I can't help but ask the same question David asked..."What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?"

When we see unevenly matched relationships, we sometimes ask, "What does she see in him?"

In Psalm 8:4, David asks God a similar question:
"What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?"

David was marveling at the glory of the heavens, and it made him wonder why such a magnificent Creator had placed such glory, honor and privilege on mankind.

Hadn't God created a perfect world ... and mankind messed it up?

Hadn't mankind been mocking and rejecting God's love ever since?

Why did this marvelous God love sinful mankind?

David's question was spot on.

Most men shake their fists at God and ask why He doesn't do more.

But David was in shock and awe that the Creator of the moon and stars would love him.

It bears repeating: David's response is the right one.

Take a moment today to study the sky and ponder David's question.

When I meditate on God's perfect love,
What the hell are you talking about?

Read the bible, your god is a petty, vicious, and immoral ass.

When you say "god's perfect love" I don't know what the hell you are talking about.

I've read the bible.

This world is not at all perfect and never has been.

If a parent chooses to let their own kid die (when there are medical procedures to save them) how can that person be thought of as loving?

I ponder the sky every day and think the same thing all the time, isn't nature great.

His perfect love killed off all the firstborn and if that wasn't enough he sent a flood to kill off most of mankind. Can you imagine the stench on that ark? Did noah have a bigfoot and a yeti onboard?

Ah the love, I can feel it.

The 1st and foremost commandment is...

“You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.” Matthew 22:37

You would let your own kid die (when doctors could save them) because of a sentence.
That's not loving or even decent.

More and more I'm believing that the Earth is Hell.

It's hell all right, because man has made it that way...

And that means letting your kid die? That is what god wants? Why?
