After a shooting, the bodies are left to attracting flocks of dogs that feed on them. It concerns a seven-kilometer-long line that divides Gaza in two, just south of Gaza City. According to CNN, Israel has built a road there "to facilitate raids." Although the line does not appear on maps or in official orders, it is referred to as the "line of dead bodies," according to a commander.

Seems like 'entering' would be more appropriate than 'passing through'.

"IDF soldiers who served in Gaza tell Haaretz" (an extreme far-left paper) - yeah okay.

So when you can't call "them" antisemitic because they are jews, you call them extreme and " far" at the same time? If being in opposition to your extreme far-right government is being extreme to you, then so be it.

Haaretz has been an extreme far left paper for decades now, long before the current government was established.
Its owner not long ago was heard in a speech praising Islamist terrorists as freedom fighters. It's a paper of lunatics that represents less than 0.1% of Israel's population.

If all your agenda of lies against the Israeli defense forces acting morally to protect their citizens against vile Islamist terrorists has to base on is noises from radicals and extremists then it says a lot.

You're not happy that Haaretz exposes Israeli atrocities to the world? Tough. Oh, and speaking of lies, shall we examine Israeli propaganda's unimpeachable record of truthfulness and moral integrity?

Simply pointing the truth that terror supporters such as yourself that hate the West and civilized democracies depend on other extremists and radicals to promote their propaganda against civilized democracies.

Sigh, Haaretz is considered one of Israel's most liberal and left-liberal newspapers. Liberalism advocates for individual freedom, market economy, and the rule of law, while the far left (communism) aims to minimize or eliminate private property rights and often prioritizes the collective over the individual. Liberals usually see the state as a guarantor of individual freedoms and rights, whereas the far left often views the state as a tool for class struggle and power redistribution.

Liberalism is the very opposite of communism (extreme far left) and has even less in common with communism than conservatism does. Just because they oppose your government doesn't make them "extreme far left"; that's only your government's propaganda. Marx was very critical of both David Ricardo, John Stuart Mill, and Adam Smith. Personally, I believe Marx had a point, even if he took it to far. Haaretz does not. (And I do not consider myself Extreme far left...)

Civil democracies doesn't use propaganda to silence their opposition.

No idea what the above nonsense on liberalism is about.
Haaretz is widely considered in Israel to be a paper of lunatics who are so extremely far-left that they support those who try to murder them.
Civilized democracies have freedom of speech and free press hence why Haaretz is allowed to operate, but it doesn't make it less biased or its agenda less crazy.
There's nothing in Haaretz that is more "liberal" than the MSM news in Israel that isn't made of lunatics.

They don't support their own murder, they understand that it's their own state that is the illegal occupier, the illegal concentration camp builders, the pushers of apartheid. etc etc

They have kept their humanity and maybe that's why you struggle with them having lost your own or never properly developed one, either/ or?

All Israeli news has to be given to the military censor, right?

Israel routinely kills/murders journalists in Palestine, Lebanon etc etc in fact more journalists have been killed in this genocidal attack than ever before in a similar time frame, correct?

It shut down AJ in Israel and then shut its head office in the OPTs

They don 't allow any independent reporting from inside Gaza as they carry out a genocide

They also recently named 6 Palestinian journalists working in northern Gaza as being slated for murder in what was a Jewish fatwa

from Reporters Without Borders.............

Journalist Israel Frey was forced to evacuate his home in Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv, on 14 October, after a mob from Israel’s far-right threatened him outside his house, accusing him of showing sympathy for the victims of Israeli bombing in the Gaza Strip in a video he had appeared in. A few days earlier, on 13 October, journalists from the British international news channel BBC ArabicMuhannad Tutunji, Haitham Abudiab, and their team — were arrested, assaulted, and held at gunpoint by Israeli police in Tel Aviv. On 5 June, an unidentified assailant destroyed the glass entrance to the editorial office of the daily Haaretz, considered one of the few media outlets covering the impact of the war on people in Gaza. Two Haaretz journalists were assaulted by police officers on 2 September while covering demonstrations demanding an agreement for the release of hostages kidnapped by Hamas.

That you can ignore all the above to fool yourself that Israel is a free press loving champion is your own concern but to try and roll that out to others who have studied the murderous attitude towards journalists is suicidal lol

BTW I will not comment further on the stupidity of trying to pass off the Israeli state's treatment of journalists in glowing terms as anything but hogwash , however, we should be aware that this is a derail attempt

So when you can't call "them" antisemitic because they are jews

That doesn't stop them. The supporters of the rogue state are the ones actually against 'real' Jews, using them as human shields, and anti-Semitic.

So is Ha'aretz known for just publishing outright lies or spreading outright false information along the lines of a domestic propaganda organization like PressTV or Russia Today, Apocalypse? Are there any left-leaning newspapers/media organizations in Israel critical of the Netanyahu government and the Israeli military's actions whose voices you would consider reasonable? Or is the only valid criticism of the Israeli military is that they are being too soft and gentle towards the Gazans?

Started in 1919, they should be by your account be out of business

Dead bodies might indicate possible risk.

There aren't dead bodies at every point of the zone. Anyway, seeing a dead body in a war zone wouldn't necessarily make a person think all civilians are a target for killing.

And children wouldn't be able to evaluate the risk anyway.

Intentional ignorance of the term "antisemitism".
Reading through some of the responses in this thread, I am struck by the indifference many seem to show. When confronted with a story as horrifying as this, civilians shot and left as food for stray dogs, it’s not just shocking; it’s deeply disheartening.

If such an atrocity doesn’t stir outrage, what will? What kind of news would it take to awaken empathy, to spark a sense of justice or even discomfort? Indifference in the face of suffering is dangerous. It normalizes the unthinkable and allows cruelty to thrive unchecked.

This isn’t just about those who died. It’s about what their deaths represent and the silence that follows. And it’s about us, too. If we can read something like this and feel nothing, where is the hope for a better future?

I’m not here to accuse or debate politics. I want to ask something deeper: What does it say about us as a society, as human beings, if we can shrug off such horrors without a second thought? If we don’t care now, when will we start?

Word travels quickly. Civilians who are smart avoid war zones.

Children should be kept with their parents or relatives who aren't involved in the war, unless they're being used for cover.

No, but the Settler Faction has never forgiven Haaertz for platforming Ran HaCohen.

Lies about beheaded babies and systemic rape - to THEIR side.

Dehumanization and indoctrination do that to people.
