Israel wants America to go to war for them. This must not happen.
Having started this fight thru its multi-pronged attack, Israel expects America to finish it on their behalf.
This would result in Americans being bogged down in a quagmire far worse than Iraq, given that Iran has twice the population and 3 times the area
Israel want the Americans to socialize the losses, so that they Israel can privatize the gains. Americans would have to suffer all the dead and maimed.


Israel Urges U.S. to Join War with Iran to Eliminate Nuclear Program​

Israel has asked the Trump administration over the past 48 hours to join the war with Iran in order to eliminate its nuclear program, according to two Israeli officials.

The big picture: Israel lacks the bunker buster bombs and large bomber aircraft needed to destroy Iran's Fordow uranium enrichment site, which is built into a mountain and deep underground. The U.S. has both within flying distance of Iran.

Involving the US militarily any more than it is already, would be as pointlessly futile and costly as the 20 year Afghanistan fiasco, which achieved nothing. The West couldn't defeat peasants with AK47s then, and Iran would a different matter altogether; especially so if invasion was contemplated.

How far inside the mountain and how deep underground is the Fordow enrichment site? Beyond the reach of the 5000 lb GBU-72 Massive Ordinance Penetrator? If within penetration depth of the bunker buster, Israel's F-15s can deliver it.

In the Israeli raid on Hezbollah HQ in Lebanon to kill their leader Nasrallah, the Israelis dropped a series of over 50 bunker busters, in the space of 30 seconds.

So you can drop bunker-busters serially to achieve deeper penetration, rather than relying on having to do it with a bigger bomb.

How did this war start with Trump in office? It must be fake news. Trump says wars don't start under his administrations, and any existing wars can be stopped with a phone call.

So, this is obviously propaganda, based on the lie that Israel and Iran are at war. Can't happen. Not with Trump.
 
Israel shill Dana Bash is ecstatic at Trump's tweet about control over Iran's skies, taking it as an encouraging sign of imminent US involvement in Iran (aka. Iraq 2.0)

I first need clarification from you -- are you in favor of the US wading into this war between Israel and Iran?
To me, this looks like Iraq 2.0 -- in a much, much worse way

The interweb says the Fordow facility is 80-90m below ground. The reported depth for the GBU-57 is 60m. The 14 ton GBU-57 needs to be carried by a B-2, which can carry two.

I think this will lead to an horrible quagmire that will get lots of US personnel killed.

No, I'm not in favor of war. Unfortunately, we have Trump in office. We're gonna get involved, despite MAGA being promised that Trump is anti-war.

I don't think we should but Donald isn't interested in my opinion either. Elections have consequences, and Americans--by choosing Donald Trump--now get to find out what it's like to have a President who will decide whether or not to invade Iran purely on emotion and/or desire for vengeance or to "get his way" or look tough.

And there is absolutely nothing you can do about it, because to him you are a nothing, a nobody who doesn't even have major holdings of DJT or $TRUMP.

Biden and Kamala wouldn’t have canceled the agreement, realized the importance of the agreement and then completely fail to reestablish said agreement using that as an excuse for war. We both know that.

Trump does nothing for purely unselfish reasons. In some way, Trump will personally be making money via war.

Israel is a US ally. Why shouldn't the US support its ally? Especially against a designated terrorist state trying to produce nuclear materials.
