Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response [W:502]

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

What nation are you from?

He’s been asked that before but he doesn’t have the stones to answer it.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

An ignorant question...

"On the last day of the war a Scud hit a US military compound in Riyadh killing 27 and wounding 98. Israel was lucky."

Yep yep, there's our amazing ally, thankful for Americans getting blown to smithereens again. And that's before 9/11 even occurred.

https://m.jpost.com/Opinion/27-years-since-the-Gulf-War-why-didnt-Israel-respond-542437

Only 2 Israelis died from SCUD missile attacks during the Gulf War.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

I’d settle for some of you to acknowledge that Israel is an ally.

I am not an idiot. i know very well that Israel is an ally. The way you approach this topic is very strange.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

Clearly not, or I wouldn't have asked

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

The US asked Israel not to get involved. Bush called on a nearly daily basis to Shamir (then Israeli PM) so Israel won't get involved even though it was attacked by waves of Scud missiles from Iraq. He didn't want Israel's participation in the attacks to break the coalition.

You're well known for the ignorance that drives your racist beliefs but this one is quite ignorant even by those standards.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

The funniest part is according g to the story Jesus is gonna pu isn't the Jews for rejecting him when he shows up.

So they want them there so they can get what's coming to them.

The Israelis know this but encourage their support anyway. Because they need American support.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

What nation are you from?

In Soviet Russia, nations are from you.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

I'm more interested to know if he knows how to spell it.

I'm sure you'll agree that conservatives who support serial liars and sexual predators can't really be considered the most trustworthy of individuals.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

All that stuff about them being a desert tribe unworthy of our support didn’t indicate contempt?

Are you talking about this? He didn't say they didn't were unworthy and didn't deserve support. You're reading things into what he said, and then you inferred that he doesn't support Israel and is possibly an anti semite.

When you take away the Christian end-times/revelations/people-of-god tinted lenses you end up seeing the middle east for what it really is. Various Abrahamic sects squabbling with each other over land, race, and petty religious differences.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

The problem with Jewish groups wanting an ethno state and the Arabs wanting to destroy Israel, is that select groups and individuals on both sides are using dangerous rhetoric. They essentially see the other ethnic group as a direct threat to their existence, and this language and way of thinking historically can escalate a situation to genocide. I don't think either side is above acting genocidal, because historically, groups committing it, in their own view, do so out of preservation and they rationalize destroying an enemy out to destroy them.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

I could not imagine anyone less qualified to speak on the motivations of those of us that support our ally.

I was referring to the 2003 Iraq War. The link I originally provided seems to not work now, so here it is again.

There is no possible racial component in my objection to Israeli policy and actions, try again. Israel is 80% European, and I'm of European ancestry, so where are you going with this?

The link is working now, I just tested it.

I expressly said I didn’t think he was an anti Semite.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

I was just kind of wondering about the religious views. I am not trying to lead you into making a point. I know that evangelics want a temple rebuilt, but they also talk like all Muslims want to kill all the Jewish people. Do they fear Muslims will kill the Jewish people off, so then the temple cannot be built and Jesus can't come back? I have little experience with evangelics like you, so I am just trying to understand how you think they see that entire region of the world and how it fits into the religious views.

The US became involved in two conflicts with Iraq, both of which involved the usual massive number of USA lies. Only the later one was an equivalent to a Nazi Germany illegal invasion of a sovereign nation, the ultimate war crime but in both the USA committed massive war crimes.

That is exactly how propaganda is supposed to work. Other than the odd glitch or two that is exactly how US propaganda works.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

To me, it is all an entrapment game. If all Israel is is a Jewish state, then any criticism of Israel is antisemitic. That is basically the position he wants to lock people into.

If we recognize that Israel is a Jewish state in the religious sense - in spite of the fact that there is no state religion - as there would be in a Muslim, Buddhist or even Hindu state - then one cannot argue against its decisions without becoming an antisemite.

That's a little messed up and dishonest if one doesn't understand the implications of a Jewish state because it has Jews and not a Jewish state because it is a home for Jews.

Not the "out there" type like truthatallcosts, but absolutely a leading antisemite around here. I'll refer you to the damning evidence if you'll ask for it.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

Yes, whatever he tells you about what Evangelicals think will be completely fair, being such a big supporter of religious adherents as he is.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm. We have been an ally of Israel for many decades. Our military personnel are obliged to follow orders and die if necessary. If they don't want to be in the service then they should not enlist.

No one volunteers for service to fight nonessential wars for foreign nations. Review the life of Pat Tillman. Hint: The conclusion you should reach by reading about Tillman should change your opinion about sending our men to die for other's personal gain.

Re: Israel and Iran on brink of full-scale war after unprecedented Syria bombardment in response to

Lmao, ah so then it is not antisemitic to blame Israel for everything then, even though thats exactly what you are saying antisemites do.

Is that the position you've placed yourself?

Yay, tripple down on your dishonesty.
