He's just intellectually lazy. He thinks he knows all he needs to know.According to Colbert, Trump doesn't like to be called stupid. He apparently doesn't have a problem calling others dumb.
I don't find other people's intellect to be indicative of being that much smarter, just knowledgeable about different things. We're all made up of a certain amount of wisdom, unique experiences, genetic predispositions, formal/informal education, analytical capacity, memory recall, critical thinking & problem solving skills, etc. And we all excel in certain areas more than is common for some and less for others. I see every person as an opportunity to learn and share something new, not as incompetent competitors.
Trump, intellectually, and business wise is probably above average but he sorely lacks emotional maturity and a healthy self-image. I think he's more of a sheltered asshole than a flat-out, low-brow dummy.

I don't think he's actually lazy but too self-assured of his own opinion. He's just intellectually lazy. He thinks he knows all he needs to know.
Or The Apprentice. He has a very particular kind of intelligence: a particular kind of genius to talk to a to the masses and get them riled up and excited. This is the same kind of genius for the producers of something like the Jerry springer show, WWE wrestling, or Fox News to make shows that crush the ratings.
Other than that, he is a blithering idiot. But for the purposes of gaining personal power, What more do you need?

I listened to my employee's suggestions because sometimes they had great ideas.
A lack of interest in more positive attributes is not the typical lazy but being a know-it-all is extremely lazy in a sense.Being too self-assured breeds laziness. A lack of curiosity or willingness to learn. Lazy. Listening to others is a waste of time because you already know more than the generals. Laziness. But Trump's chest-puff is false self-assuredness to overcome his obvious self-doubt. He is certainly not lazy in self-promotion and cutting off any slight appearance of encroachment on his ego at the knees. The only area Trump is not lazy in is the extensive area of his narcissism.
He's about average but he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth so he has a tremendous sense of entitlement. Also, he's getting old and completely forgotten that when he was young he was uber-liberal.
Good question. Trump's definitely conned millions on the right into believing he's a man of the people when he's exactly the opposite.Does he have the lexicon and diction of a five year old because that's how smart he is, or is he talking down to his voters?
He's been full of himself for a long timeHe's about average but he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth so he has a tremendous sense of entitlement. Also, he's getting old and completely forgotten that when he was young he was uber-liberal.
Biden has the same effectHe sure can send libs off on a temper tantrum that’s for sure. One simple quiet whisper of the name Trump and libs will go off on a goofy, rage filled tangent. Happens every time.
Remember libs, Da Trumpsta loves ya!!!

I choose "Other". It's relative. Even geniuses can be stupid in some things.According to Colbert, Trump doesn't like to be called stupid. He apparently doesn't have a problem calling others dumb.
