How does he control the mass media? There are numerous channels and programs devoted almost exclusively to criticizing everything he does.

The crux of the problem is so elementary, that some foreigners like Allan, cannot understand how federal buildings and property have a right to protection at all times.
Now we have a politically posturing Democrat Governor Pritzker demanding that the Chicago police not help the federal government protect their property or their ICE workers. Okay, but in light of his lack of cooperation, the federal government has the unfettered right to send in troops/NG to get the crowd under control so that ICE can carry on with their federal duties, carry on with Its primary mission to protect America from cross-border crime and illegal immigration that threaten national security and public safety.

Technically no. There isn't really a philosophy behind Trumpism and it is more like a cult of personality.

He is authoritarian enough that I don't care about the level of precision in most contexts though. The right seemed really keen on the term Islamofascist for a while, so it looks like there is plenty of room for making the term flexible and not soley rooted in historical viewpoints.
