Most people know enough to brush their teeth. fail
has science said an apple is not good for you?
Science only says that an apple for sure is not very good for you if you dont eat the skin.
If you eat the skin it might be.
Note: apples is one of those things that bothers me, during the time I was raising my kids the food minders were all "Dont give them kool-aid with all that sugar, apple juice is much better for them".
Be a good parent , give your kids apple juice!
:bs

again, processed apple juice is not the same as feeding someone an apple. Our education system is terribly inadequate in the US.

in much more moderate quantities than the typical american diet
I see people dont know what moderate means
Like what?
I live in Europe. I've never visited the States. How much meat does the typical American diet include?
Varies wildly... With economics and ethnicity taking part in deciding what makes for a meal.
I was raised by parents form the mid-west. If there wasn't dead critter on the table it wasn't a real meal.
On the other hand I have gone a couple of days with not meat. Chinese neighbors had meat once or twice a week.
World Health Organization Says Processed Meat Causes Canceryou might want to do some googling on how your body processes certain chemicals contained in deli meat
this took .5 seconds to find: A new statement from a World Health Organization research agency classified processed meat — including bacon, hot dogs and lunch meats like salami — as carcinogenic. It also found that eating 50 grams daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 18 per cent.
not true. also a lot of vitamins and fiber in fruit.
World Health Organization Says Processed Meat Causes Cancer
Overall, the lifetime risk of someone developing colon cancer is 5%. To put the numbers into perspective, the increased risk from eating the amount of processed meat in the study would raise average lifetime risk to almost 6%.
I believe that this is the same source you used. So, from 5% to almost 6%. That sounds fine to me.

well it's all about what we are willing to risk
the percentage may seem low but as you go through life you will increasingly see it doesn't mean much if you are in the minority
but life's for living, chose your poison.eace
yep. the chinese and the greeks know the balance
me too
Way more in veggies, including the anthocyanin group.
Veggies are just better as far as nutrition is concerned. Fruits are mostly water and sugar whereas veggies are low in sugar for the most part.
I ride motorcycles. I also do most the maintenance on mine.
I not only own guns but reload my own ammo.
I worked professionally with explosives for 20 years.
I'll take the meat and the <1% increase...
But that is just me.
