Is there truly no bottom to Biden's willingness to abuse his power and abase our country?

I don't know what the discussion was. The point was Biden lied about it.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Former Vice President Joe Biden said Saturday he hasn't spoken to his son Hunter Biden about his overseas businesses while forcefully calling again for an investigation into President Donald Trump's July phone call with Ukraine's president.

Hunter Biden, however, told the New Yorker in an interview for an article published in July that he discussed Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas producer, with his father in December 2015. At the time, Hunter Biden sat on Burisma‘s board of directors.

Joe Biden: I never talked Ukraine with son, Trump needs to be investigated

Yawn. The Ukrainians say there's nothing there. Still, it's fun to watch the people that twump suckers cling so desperately to their fairy tale.

Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

Precisely, they are old, and no "actual" charges have been brought.

Do you honestly thing that the obama DOJ was going to bring any charges against biden?
LMAO.

they wouldn't even go after hillary after she broke numerous laws and statues.

the political machine does not eat their own unless they don't like you.
which is why we have these nothingburgers that keep coming out about trump.

So what did he discuss with his father?

Although I loathe Biden, I think this scandal is probably less significant, less dirty, and less corrupt than what Trump does before he gets out of bed in the morning. The reason being that people like Biden and Clinton operate tend to operate on the line of corruption without going over it. The closeness to the line is certainly an issue for people like me, but I'm always amused at the sheer audacity of a Trump supporter raising the ethical flag. It's as if these people are totally devoid of shame or self-awareness.

That's just it, though: there literally is no scadal here involving Biden. None. Zero Nada.

Wasn't the point I made or the point the article made. Who knows or cares.

So you have no idea if the discussion he had with this father was material or even meaningful. Do you know anything?

Or maybe its the continued ignorance of the left who thinks keeping classified government secrets on a personal server in your basement is operating on the line of corruption without going over it.

Funny how that works so well for the left.

Yeah, I know Biden knowingly lied when stated he never had any conversations with his son about his appointment to the company.

Classified document on her public server isn't corruption, that's stupid condor.
It's possibly illegal, certainly grossly improper, but how would that evidence corruption?

No wonder you don't realize Trump's administration is corrupt, you have no ****ing clue what it means.
Trump's kids failed security clearance and are put in front of foreign leaders to negotiate...he overrode that security clearance by ordering it.

Nepotism.
Failed clearance.
Put them in areas of national security.

That's an example of corrupt behavior. One of a few dozen...maybe hundreds?

Yeah, I know Biden knowingly lied when stated he never had any conversations with his son about his appointment to the company.

So for all you know, they were discussing what Hunter had for lunch in the Burisma cafeteria.

So my question to you is this: why would you expect Joe to remember such a conversation?

this thread is about biden's corruption not trump.
so as i figured the hypocrites will ignore it.

Lol, I guess, in your view, hypocrisy wears off quickly then, cause just 2 days ago you were talking about Biden in 2 threads about Trump's corruption.

But I'll keep this on topic. When it comes to the push to fire Shokin, I think there were much larger factors at play, in Biden's mind, than an inactive investigation into his son's company. Still I wouldn't vote for Biden, even if he won the 2020 nomination, simply because his unqualified son was on the board of a Ukrainian gas company while Biden was the diplomatic point man for Ukraine. That's a big enough conflict of interest for me to not support him. I have no tolerance for nepotism, and I didn't vote for Hillary for the same reason. That being said, I hope Trump ****s his pants in public.

So is it the personal server in the basement that offends your sensibilities, or is it keeping classified information on a private server that is the issue? Let me know so I can respond to your nonsense appropriately.

In every interaction I've ever had with every trump supporter in which the topic of corruption has come up, one thing has always been consistent: not one of them understands why corruption is bad, so it's understandable that none of them can use the word accurately in a sentence.

I've always presented them with one simple test: "What was wrong with the Tarmac Meeting?" Not one of them has been able to answer this question. I normally get three types of responses, usually in this order:

1. They take this question as me making the argument that there wasn't actually anything wrong with that meeting, so I'll have to explain that I agree it was bad, which usually brings us to response #2:
2. "It's corruption." Well, yes, but why is that bad? The problem is that this response is only part one of a two-part answer, so I'll ask them to complete the answer, at which point the discussion always stalls at #3:
3. "I'm not playing your games anymore."

Trump supporters literally have no idea what corruption is or why it's considered bad.

1. Executive Order 13526 and 18 U.S.C Sec. 793(f) of the federal code make it a federal felony to send of store classified information on personal email or server

Comey stated she had over 166 top secret documents in her email account from this server.

By using a private email system, Secretary Clinton violated the Federal Records Act and the State Department’s Foreign Affairs Manual regarding records management, and worse, left classified and top secret documents vulnerable to cyber attack.

2. Section 1236.22 of the 2009 National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requirements states that: Agencies that allow employees to send and receive official electronic mail messages using a system not operated by the agency must ensure that Federal records sent or received on such systems are preserved in the appropriate agency record keeping system.

3. Upon request by federal subpoena for her records Clinton had the server wiped and deleted over 30,000 emails.

You can't be serious. Really? THis is why the left is so blind.

I think it's more that they just don't care. It's nihilism and narcissism in action.

I mean, these are the people who lined up to buy Trump Sharpies from the campaign after he was caught drawing on a ****ing map to make it look like he didn't misspeak.

1. Executive OrderYou can't be serious. Really? THis is why the left is so blind.
So you agree it wasn't corruption, but criminal...and the intent/criminality was determined by Comey...a Republican, to be insufficient to warrant prosecution. But here you are crying in a post with bull**** as usual...calling it corruption when it's not, and still bitter Comey did the right thing. Did you see my example of Trump's corruption? You don't agree? Tell me how you justify it please.

I think it's more that they just don't care. It's nihilism and narcissism in action.

I disagree. What I consistently get from them is a sense of frustration, because I'm asking them to define a broader concept and they can't.

THis is where the left fails over and over. Why does this have anything to do with my sensibilities?

Do you get it now or do you need something less sensitive.

Because what they are told they should frustrated at is manufactured.

It's criminal, not corrupt, why so sad Condor? That Republican in charge, Comey felt it wasn't even worth prosecuting. Hardly something to get underwear all bunched up over, right? What about Trump placing his entirely inexperienced children into senior positions who failed security clearance, to which he said **** it and overrode them? Is that corruption or MAGA?

Because what they are told they should frustrated at is manufactured.

Well, it's not that I'm telling them what they should or shouldn't consider a meaningful (or even real) example of corruption. It's that they don't know what corruption is. My experience of this has been completely across the board.

This is how they've been able to allege "corruption" on the part of the Obama administration all these years.

I've always presented them with one simple test: "What was wrong with the Tarmac Meeting?"

If you don't know why District attorneys and prosecutors don't speak with the spouse of an individual under federal investigation, you are way out of your pay grade to even comment on anything further. (Which you are)

By having a secret conversation with the spouse of someone under federal investigation by the head of the DOJ, the DOJ just recused themselves from prosecution.

It shows favoritism. If you are not familiar with that aspect of the meeting, you have no clue and no information that has any value going forward.

For the very same reasons why Jessie Smollett is back in court for his original charges. Anyone who becomes head of the DOJ knows this from years of experience and would never commit such an act unless they had something to hide.

You should move onto something else as this is obviously way out your league.

Right wing media does that manufacturing, not you. That's why when you ask them why, in every-day language specifically why they believe XYZ, they can't help you much beyond talking points. They would need to appeal back to the source, which isn't their own thoughts or beliefs in the first place.
