Is there any other reason to vote for Mr. Walker other than the R next to his name?

Can anyone belonging to the gop or who calls themselves an independent but votes republican really convince themselves that Mr. Walker is qualified to be a senator, and believe it?

To me, the gop is so intent on thwarting the dems, they will do it at the detriment of georgians and americans in general. Walker got to where he is because of trump and now trump is so toxic walker's handlers won't allow him around walker.

Horrible candidates supporting each other from a distance. Nice.

Not at all.

Even back in the day I was a straight ticket R voter I would not have been able to cast a vote for that lying freak and look at myself in the mirror in the morning. Just like I couldn't vote for Trump.

It's a bitch when your beliefs are shattered. Maybe one day your party will return to you? It would be a good thing for america if we had two parties trying to govern instead of ripping each other apart.

My party will return to me when they wash the stink of Trump off themselves. That includes getting rid of the Trump supporters in Congress.
 
At one time in this country we had “yellow dog democrats“.

The term "yellow dog" derives from the saying, "I'd vote for a yellow dog if he ran on the Democratic ticket." In the 1928 presidential election campaign, yellow dog Democrats were Alabamans who remained loyal to the party even though they did not like the Democratic candidate, Al Smith. Because the expression came generally to be used to describe loyal Southern Democrats, it also frequently had a somewhat moderate to conservative connotation, as if referring to "old school" Democrats.

Nothing more is required. Ability, suitability, dedication to public service and the Constitution, conservative values, and character no longer matter. All that matters is that they are Republican, or claim to be. What those who have fallen into this ultimate tribalism don't realize is that power in the hands of people without character, without values is used to only serve themselves.

Agree. The policy shift in the GOP made me leave.

It is not just the GOP. The Dems have its radical politicians. Seems some members of Congress have put Party above what is best for America and its people.

That's the other reason. I have a GA phone number and you would not believe the number of texts I am receiving from the Walker camp trying to tug at the UGA heartstrings. I PLAYED FOOTBALL FOR YOUR SCHOOL! I WAS SO GOOD! REMEMBER?

Which is why I have not registered as a Democrat. My issues with them still exist. They just are not as repulsive and stupid as the Republicans are.
 
Many people hope that Mr. Walker will win in order to prevent Chuck from becoming the dictator of the Senate.

Of course, Mr. Walker will not win.

(By the way, when is the elderly Chuck going to retire and let younger Dems take over?)
