Yeah, I'd bet that you wouldn't be trotting out that explanation for this question:
Humans evolved from other animals
57.6% of Democrats agreed.
41.5% of Republicans agreed.
You'd accept that flat-out. Right?
I don't think it's a crown jewel for either party that the figures in this poll question are that low.
I've sometimes thought that it would be kinda amusing if god turned out to be an omnipotent and undying genetic scientist or whatever, and humans are a test.Well said.
Not talking repubs alone here.
Democrats are no better in this regard.

Hence why, IMO, we need a Centrist Party. The GOP has gone insane, which now leaves us no real alternative but to elect corrupt Democrats--like Terry McCaulif in Virginia.
If the electorate want to evict a democrat, more often than not they are stuck with a Tea Nut, if not another crazy, backwards thinking Republican, who believes rape can't result in pregnancy or wants to impose Putin-like sanctions on gays, as the alternative. That, my friends, sucks.
5.3% could be margin of error. 16.1%? not so much.
I said the same thing, but apparently statistics are just another liberal conspiracy.
I believe the republicans should start specializing in better solutions at lower cost instead of merely obsolete propaganda and rhetoric in modern times.

Yes, lower spending, and jobs is "obsolete propaganda"
Look, it's not such a stretch to believe that the very same group of people who believe that Astrology is a science are not too conversant with scientific facts.
I could write a book on how important the stars were to ancient cultures, and how they understood the cosmos better than present humanity can.
I could write a book on how barbers and bloodletting were important to the development of medicine, but anyone today who thinks that the best way to address a sore throat is to cut open a vein and bleed themselves is a crank, and so too are liberals who believe that Astrology is a science.

Could the same be said for all these religious folks with all their crazy myths and superstitions?
Sure, but I think that those folks already have a book, probably better to write another book about the crazy myths and superstitions, beyond astrology, that liberals hold dear in their lives.

Astrology/Astronomy is a science - as a matter of fact astrology is probably one of the most important sciences in human history.... The science was only responsible for measuring time and navigation. Lets also not forget all the segregated or contacted cultures that used the stars....
So astronomy and astrology are certainly not poppycock.

I think the poster is suggesting that its time for the Cons to be specific, as to date, they have not been. They largely tell us what they are against and never tell us what they are for.
For example: What is the "replace" in "repeal and replace?" The Keystone pipeline is not a jobs bill, nor are most of the other 25 "job bills" that have been passed. If they were they would be touting the specifics (which granted, they have at least done this with the Keystone pipeline) instead of hiding behind vagueness. Most of these bills abolish regulations, most of which make sense to be in place because of prior abuse...and as a small business man, few, if any stand in the way of progress (of people making investment in a business).
Why waste time? All progs do is dismiss, and continue the lie that nothing was offered.
What a cop out! You can't answer because you know I am right. It's funny how the truth has a liberal bias.
You can not state that the Progs have no ideas (though, a recycled conservative idea called the PPACA isn't really much in the way of evidence).... you can not show us evidence the Cons have any ideas. In fact, the Republicans have not proposed and passed much in the way of meaningful legislation (other than tax cuts) in over 100 years; its a party devoid of ideas.
