with one fact that makes it true . . please let us know when you can, thanks!
BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Already done so, but you swooshed a big airball.

AmbiguousGuy himself has declared that all American media are rightwing.

Could there be a bigger fact upon which to conclude that American media are rightwing??

I mean, AmbiguousGuy himself.

Please try to deal with that fact. Then repeat any inanities which occur to you.

You would lose that bet. We are a union of 50 states, not one big nation. Win or lose, I would not take that power from the states and give it to a few densely populated large cities which is what a national popular vote system would do.
Rather than leaving it with the bumpkinish hinterlands... yes... an excellent idea.

I'd much rather have cities and suburbs decide than rural bumpkins. They're better educated and way more cosmopolitan. Furthermore, if memory serves, back in the time of Romney's loss, even though over a million more people voted for Democrats than Republicans for the US House, the Republicans still had a majority of seats. So bumpkins were telling other people what to do. Ick.
Are all libruls that bigoted against rural Americans?

Only the dumbass ruralites who can be led around by their noses, by their rightwing elite masters.

I found nothing coherent to respond to in that rant. ASorry.
It was a discussion of civil-military relations.

Not your cup of tea, I know. A Navy admiral retired and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

A discussion, not a rant. The only rant was Flynn at the Republican convention in 2016 and Lock Her Up. That was the rant you got from the post.

What I find most unfortunate about the GOP is that they have some reasonable conservatives mixed in with a bunch of fundamentalist wackos. As a moderate/independent, I'm open to voting for any party depending on what their platform is, but the GOP is rarely tenable because even voting for a reasonable candidate means you indirectly prop up the wackos. The Democrats don't have wackos, they just have overly idealistic people and spending platforms; but that's not as big of a problem as fundamentalist wackos.

I think the GOP really needs to clean house and tidy up its image. It used to be a lot more respectable. There were more classical/paleo conservatives and fiscally minded people who weren't just about tax breaks for the rich. They were the nation's method of consolidating spending and keeping important budgets on track. If they returned to that and ditched some of the draconian social politics and social neo-cons, they could potentially get my vote.

The GOP was almost completely decimated when Jim Crow was defeated and their only fallback was the fundamentalist southern religious types. That's literally how they survived. Their party has been trying to survive on that way past its expiry date. It's time to ditch that dead weight and return to being the party of pragmatism. Will they do that though? Unlikely. The wackos are pretty entrenched.

Is the Republican party becoming too extreme and turning off moderate voters? It seems like the most pro Trump candidates lost the biggest in the midterms.

I would have considered myself a fiscal conservative in the Obama administration. I was very hard on him and his policies, and branded him a 'liar' about "you can keep your plan"

Was I EVER wrong!

Today, after Trump, I'm a died in the wool democratic socialist. **** business and their tax breaks, **** the 2%, if they want to stay in America they have to pay their share. **** corporate tax breaks, pony up boys its time to pay your freight.
Following Trump I could also be considered anti-government or at least extremely suspicious about the $ flow to politicians and how it is they're all wealthy.
Following Trump I am 'show me or shut up", without documentation it's pure unadulterated bullshit so put up or shut up.
Following Trump I am all about term limits, donations and oversight of the courts especially the Supreme Corruption Court. You may as well impeach Harris now, you know you'll have to sooner or later.
Following Trump I want to see the tax returns of every person who runs for office, even the ****ing dog catcher, as well as the tax returns of every judge, every DA and every 'elector'.

And **** the Republican Party. They were riding high when Trump was raiding the till.

Trust erosion?

A bit yeah.

Alleged crook As of yet you have nothing on him. And I bet you think Joe "man of dementia" is not a crook. You probably did not think the hildabeast was a crook either,

have you read any of the testimony in the New York case?

I would lighten up on your defense because based on that oath given testimony Trump is guilty of fraud. The fact he hasn't been charged yet notwithstanding, his own staff are selling him out as the kingpin in a giant fraud of millions and millions of $ in tax avoidance.

And in any event he's told over 100,00 lies since entering politics...is there any question he's dishonest?

Let's just say I'd count my fingers after shaking hands with him.

Oh...I'm terrible for getting a minor difference in verbiage wrong from memory from a while ago. So they want to "disrupt" the nuclear family. Point stands, they are not pro-nuclear family. You don't support something that you're disrupting.
Ward Cleaver was banging his secretary, while June was having an affair with a woman in her book club, Wally was tapping the liquor cabinet & may have knocked up the girl down the street, while Beaver was busy making models, using an unusual amount of airplane glue.

No I have not. I am sure that if there is actually anything to the case, it will come out. I'll wait. I have for 6 years now heard multiple "We got him now" claims

And Hillary Clinton has un-prosectuted crimes going all the way back to at least the 1970s Joe Biden is deeply involvedh in his his son Hunter's shady business deals in China and Ukraine. Legal or not, Nancy Pelosi's husband has made millions inthe stock market thanks to insider info from Nancy. And I would bet that if one were to look deeply enough at your man-child prime minister of Canada, he probably has some illegalities to hide. I am not defending anyone. How many squeaky clean politicians do you know?
And in any event he's told over 100,00 lies since entering politics...is there any question he's dishonest?
I don't take that claim the least bit seriously. Has trump lied in his career as a businessman and politician? Sure, however 100,000 lies since taking office? Let's be real. I have over time checked out some of the fringe left wing sites claiming 5000 lies, 10.000 lies, etc. Reading into the lists, calling them outright lies is laughable. It's like some idiot is sitrting in a basement in his underwear, watching cable news and scouring web sites looking for anything he can spin as a lie. The truth is that establishment politicians have been lying to all of us for decades and in the last few years. Why single out Trump
Let's just say I'd count my fingers after shaking hands with him.
Trump is a relative newbie to the political class. I know you despise him, however in my opinion he does not come anywhere cose to approaching the sleaze factor of say Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, etc.

I happen to agree with the chant "Lock her up!" The hilabeast is one of the sleaziest and most politicians in this nation's history.
