Is the reason why you don't see homeless camping in Red States because they just throw them in jail or give them 1 way tickets out of town?

On this post that addresses a skid row situation (in Portland) and the usual sheep are blaming it on Biden and "his failed leadership", "sancturary cities" "libtards". The usual intelligent stuff.
Where I pointed out you don't see as much of it in Red Places, because they basically made it a crime to be homeless when that may be your only actual "crime", rents are more affordable in those places because jobs usually don't pay as much and they punish those that do that by just putting them in jail or giving them 1 way bus tickets out of town.
Am I right?

 
The homeless tend to congregate in denser areas, aka cities, and cities tend to be blue simply because it's harder to hate people for being different when you're surrounded by different people (though some manage it).

I've heard through other Bus Drivers in a Blue City that homeless people were sent here from Red States like Ohio. They had to choose between that or going to jail.

So youre saying in blue states, jobs pay more and rent is more? So people are homeless? Is that an argument for or against higher paying jobs?

One of the most liberal parts of the country. We have some in Florida, in the blue cities, as well. Its not a state problem.

yea, there aren't really any red cities. When people have to actually interact with other humans, they seem to vote blue.

Like I said, it needs to be advertised more, that Red State Governors and Mayors are mandating that their homeless, leave their towns and go to places like Seattle and San Francisco. Giving them one way Greyhound Tickets.

Damn. The reason the homeless congregate in cities is because cities throw more stuff away - food, clothing, there's more drugs and alcohol...

There's no grocery store here. No restaurants, liquor stores, drugs...nothing they need or want. It has nothing to do with hate. Rural areas just aren't attractive to them for very obvious reasons, which is why you missed them. Don't look now, but I think there's a fly on your nose.
 
With all of the tragedies we've had recently (tornadoes, etc) homelessness is not just a blue state problem.
Also take population into account for numbers

We (the US collectively) should be ashamed that we cannot provide affordable housing in many if not most cities and rural counties

Some of the homeless in Baltimore migrate back and forth from cities in the South; notably Florida’s cities and Atlanta.

The reason being that in late spring to late fall, Southern cities kick them out due to tourism so they come north to Baltimore, Philly and NYC.

The rest of the year when it gets cold they mostly migrate back south where it is warmer.

Weird how they follow the same migration pattern that baby boomers do….

No surprise. Austin has pretty much shit on law enforcement since George Floyd. And it's turned the city to shit as a result.
 
Not necessarily true.
Texas and Florida are #3 and #4 in the US for the number of homeless people.

The only time it's brown is when the surf is heavy and pulling up the sand, which makes the water look brown. I'm at the beach at least once a week.
